  • In episode 162, Ally cruises to the Bahamas crossing the Gulf Stream from Florida on a brand new Sunseeker 74 Sport Yacht. This is part 1 of the journey and she visits Fisherman's Village Marina on Bimini and then to Chub Cay Resort and Marina.

    Love sunseeker boats! Great for getting to a destination quick! I used to take my 76 sunseeker from key west to Bahamas! I'm waiting on a new boat now. The market is crazy for boats right now..

      Because the boat was on "display" since it was for sale. We had a crew of 10 and we couldn't all sleep on it. Thanks for watching!

    I did that crossing on a 38' sailboat....at night. That was an adventure. We took turns on freighter watch and yes that is a real thing. Enjoy your boating and S. Florida 🌴

    This boat is stunning but I think you need to consider an 84'+ yacht for an even better ride across to bimini.

    Wonderful journey. What is fuel burn at 31 knots? Thats some speed for 74. I have taken Axopar 37 - full throttle at 48 knots from KW to Bimini.

      According to PMY, at 31knots and 2100 RPM the GPH is 137 with a range of 263. At 17 knots, it gets its best range at 359 and the GPH is only 56. Thx for watching!

    Just fyi…. “Technically” only the captain is allowed to disembark the vessel for customs and all others should stay on the boat until he/she returns. 🙏🏼🤙🏼

      Yes, The Capt did that first. Then I went to the marina to pay. He had to return to customs as he left his phone :)

      Great question! This was a work trip and we used the yacht to transport 14 staff members. Only the captain stayed on it, so this brand new yacht stayed impeccable for our customers to enjoy during the trip.

      No, our regular cruising speed was about 26 knots. We traveled at 31 knots from Staniel to Nassau only.

      Not yet. We're now in Florida, looking. First the insurance company has to approve the slip location....which we are finding difficult due to hurricane season

      I work for the company that took this yacht thru the Bahamas with our customers (we sell yachts). In the marine industry, we call these "Rendezvous" - you can go back to 2019, and I host many of them in the PNW for my last company. Thank you for watching!

      I don't have the fuel bills, but we filled up 3 times and our fuel capacity is 1268 gallons.

      We have explained this. We had a large crew we were transporting and the yacht was on display at each island as it was for sale.

    I'm not really sure what this channel is about? We didn't see any tour of the actual yacht, which would have been nice and minimal tours of anything else. Are you selling boats, or just randomly traveling with a bunch of other boats?

      If you followed us from the beginning, we owned 2 boats in PNW. We have since moved to Fort Lauderdale and are hoping to find our 3rd boat.

      @DiamondD funny how you don't know that technically anything over 40 ft is considered a yacht in the Marine industry, above that you have superyacht and mega yacht. You're just a boat owner not a manufacturer I don't think you qualify to name things. Stay in your lane.

      @@diamondd1234 Actually if you want to speak facts any vessel over 30 ft is considered a yacht. But I understand why you don't see it that why because you like I obviously have owned several (Boats) big and small and when you own a 36 or 43 ft boat its hard to compare it to my 74 ft viking. So I consider it a yacht the 36 not so much and a 43 I called a mini yacht. But over 60 ft your definitely at yacht status
