Thank you for the ride! I even heard a little grumbling of the engine while docking towards the end. Thank you for quenching that thirst of mine hearing the engines running. Fair winds and following seas!
Very nice yacht thanks for the ride along! Missed Jasper he's is such a sweet dog!! Please do more videos and make them a little longer miss watching you both (plus Jasper) !!😇😇
Thanks Donna. Yeah - this one was a little shorter but we really wanted to keep it tight to give a basic sense of being underway on that boat. More longer videos on the way and, of course, more Jasper!
Hey guys Thanks for the video Really amazing how you can manoeuvre a 70 footer just from a joystick nowadays (not even mentioning the info now available on those massive screens and the skyhook feature)…. I’d love to see how docking or leaving the dock was done before that technology .. keep them coming … André
very nice job on that video !! that is a very nice vessel perfect size for them to handle. my 43ft will one day be upgraded to one around that size. i have garmin all in mine as well. make things alot easier to operate.
What an awesome ship and Great videos keep them coming Thank you. The name 3B's what it stand for? And does Capt. John and his wife (hope I got that right) crew the boat by themselves?
Hey Brett - thanks for the kind words. The 70e is a great owner/operator yacht for seasoned cruisers and John and his wife do manage it all themselves. Their last name begins with the letter B and the three B’s represent the two of them and their son. Cheers!
I love Ocean Alexanders. They just seem to hit some spot for me. And I am glad you did a recon on the cut, bumping something with pod drives can be very pricy.
Hey guys, hope all is well! Wanted to see where you were these days? I may be heading over to Abacos for the first time, a little nervous! Want to leave from FTL go to west end and take a week or so to go to some different marinas, and some nice anchorage’s, then end up in Bimini on our last day, any suggestions for marinas or quite anchorage’s? Maybe we will run into you at some point so I can buy you many cocktails for all your great advice for us new guys! Thanks again!
Hey Stephen - nice to hear from you. Sounds like a great trip, although you'll find that you'll want to stay more than a week! The most important piece of your planning will be your crossing days. It's not a long ride across but pick your days carefully. We were mostly in marinas and focused on the Exumas during our Bahamas Adventure, but you can check out the full details of what we did here: myoloh.com/category/bahamas/
On 5 boats I owned (none larger than 25 ft) everyone had the largest bimini that could fit. Having lived in FL for 40 years I love the sun but not on me.
A really nice feature of The 70e is the massive sunshade that covers the foredeck seating - they don’t keep it up when moving the boat. There’s another one that covers the seating area in the bridge deck aft.
Do you know when you’re going to Arena should say how much does Marina cost and show us the restaurants and stuff around the different marinas and the phone numbers of the different marinas that you pulled into
Robert Sherer, known as Bob423 on Active Captain and through his ICW Facebook Group (ICW Cruising Guide by Bob423) is who you're talking about. His focus is on ICW travel and his resources are part of our arsenal when we're traveling the Intracoastal Waterway between Virginia and Florida.
That part of it is very protected anyway. It's a small marina in the quiet Coco Plum area of Marathon (away from the harbor) called White Marlin. Nice to see your comment - curious if you have any idea how we "know" each other.
John and Carolyn are turning into TH-cam stars ! Love the videos and they're an awesome couple.
That OA is clean as a whistle! Nice job! 😎🤙🏼
Absolutely beautiful
Awesome, thank you for keeping it boat. One point missed, engine room! You guys are great team.
Glad you enjoyed it. This was really designed as a ride-along. Engine room will be part of an upcoming tour.
Beautiful Day. Thanks for sharing.

Fair winds and following seas!
She's a beauty. What a beautiful day too!
Hi AJ & Tim . AWESOME video . Beautiful yacht & gorgeous weather . Nice to see friends enjoying life . God bless . Mark (Toronto) 🌊🌊🌊

Love the videos you do with the 3B,s very nice couple.
Fantastic yacht. I give it a 9 out of 10. It would have been a 10, if cocktails were served.
Enjoyed the ride!! 3B's is a truly impressive yacht! Well done and thank you for taking us along! Til next time...
I was very impressed with the OA 70 E when I went aboard one at the boat show in Seattle a few years ago. Also nice that they are built in Florida.😎
Beautiful boat! Thank you for sharing
Nice Nantucket Boat Basin bag at the beginning and end of the video🤪 I really enjoy the videos
Ha! Great catch. That’s the Captain’s favorite bag (and best marina swag ever). Cheers!
Awesome! I can’t wait to retire!!!!

Great video AJ! 😊
Wonderful video, beautiful yacht, where was jasper
Thanks! While Jasper has spent much time aboard the Three B’s, he was enjoying the AC on OLOH when we went out on that day 😎
Nice boat !!
Great video, thanks, would have loved to see the engine room.
Glad you enjoyed it. A look at the engine room will be a part of the eventual tour 😎
I don’t know why OA stopped manufacturing this model. She’s on beautiful yacht.
Agreed! And it's a shame they don't have anything at all that is squarely in owner/operator category.

PS, who was the guy you have used in the past for routing, something like Bob123??? Thanks again!

What marina are you guys at……I dont recognize it……..Nice protection

@@OLOH Just watching your videos. We do not know each other
Ah, but we do. Shoot us an email at ahoy@myoloh.com and I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised with the response.
No Jasper?
He was enjoying OLOH’s AC during this ride 😎
