So I've been watching the Beat line up vids and then immediately watching the Krim version afterwards. No one will ever be able to do what Fripp did on these songs but Vai isn't trying to. I appreciate Steve's takes on the songs. Can you imagine the stress on him to redo these songs with his style?

Crimson was never about doing it just like the album, or, doing the same thing twice.
