Hence why I confess my sins to God every day and go confession weekly. I hate sin even the smallest of venial sins.
Can't stand even the smallest slips of the tongue.
Pray for me and I pray for you all who watch and comment.

Pray the Rosary every single day. One of its promises to those who say it devoutly is conversion and salvation. It will change us gradually, decrease our sins and transform a sinner into a saint. Pray for the grace to pray the Holy Rosary with humility, faith, hope, love and perseverance. If we persevere in praying it devoutly, I believe our salvation is assured.

I've never heard anything like this before. New to the Catholic faith. The "church" I belonged to taught annihilation. This doesn't portray God's "character". I think of all the protestant garbage I'm saved nothing I do matters. I know some who don't even believe they'll be judged because they "accepted Jesus as they're personal savior" and whatever they did or do ... it doesn't matter, I believe therefore I'm saved. Protestantism has sur evolved. Now I understand why rock n roll church is so devilishly defended by its attendees. They want to drown out the conviction, the concern, the fear. Lord have mercy on ME! I've so offended You.

I have seen a lot of deaths. At least three terrified me, the elderly people I was caring for were so terrified, knowing what was waiting for them. I've also been at the deathbed of souls well prepared and full of joy. One night we had two deaths on the floor. The first lady died looking like an angel. The age rolled off her and she slipped to heaven like a bride running to her groom. The body she left behind was transformed - she had been old and withered, but in death she looked like a young girl, beautiful and smiling. All of us who prepared the body for the undertaker were peaceful and glad, dressed her in her best clothes, laid white roses on her. The room smelt sweet even before we found the flowers. We wrote a letter to her son, telling him what a blessed end she had. But a few hours later, as we were doing the rounds we found another lady, unexpectedly mortally ill. She was terrified and clawing at the air. Myself and a colleague took turns to do CPR, I tried to pray, but the fear in the room squeezed our hearts. The young man on shift fled the room. The two deaths were so shockingly different. This was when I worked in England, where I never once saw a priest come out to the dying. Pray for us all, here in Ireland and throughout the 'civilised' world; the sacraments are being taken away, have been for decades, and we don't even know that we're dying of starvation.

Yes, truth never changes. However, 2000 years has passed since Jesus’s actual teachings, which makes a lot of room for His message to be misconstrued and misinterpreted over the centuries, as it's being passed down. It's like the game "telephone". Not everything should be taken at face-value.

mejl2015 I too worry for the souls in my family who died in mortal sin, especially my own father. I continue to pray for his soul and ask God to grant him the final grace before he took his last breath to turn with a contrite and repentant heart to God. A very Holy priest once told me that with God there is no space and time and that even though my father is dead and it might seem that my prayers now are fruitless, God, from the foundations of creation already heard the prayers I would be praying for my father's soul and please God, apply that grace to him in his final moments. So I never stop praying for all the departed and the souls in Purgatory as I hope someone will be praying for my own wretched soul one day. Blessed be God, now and forever.

There are several devotions that promise Heaven's assistance in giving us final perseverance. The Divine Mercy devotion, the nine first Fridays, the five first Saturdays, the three Hail Mary's per day, the 7 Hail Mary's per day to Our Lady of Sorrows, the Brown Scapular are some of them. There are probably more but those are the ones I'm aware of.
Some think of these things as superstitious even though they have been approved by the Church. They actually are a wonderful gift given to us by God, and fall into line with Catholic principles.
The Church teaches that God saves those who pray and persevere in prayer. She also prays that God will not let someone perish who is truly devoted to God. Heaven has given us, within those principles, specific devotions with extra graces attached to them. We cannot trust ourselves in persevering to the end by our own strength. It is only God who can obtain this for us. These devotions are a wonderful way that God has given us to obtain it. It can truly help us to be confident.

Hi Sensus Fidelium. Catholic Church says catholic shouldn't listen to SSPX sermons. Fr. Pfeiffer is SSPX. They are still in schism with the Church and the sermons could be dangerous to the soul because SSPX is scrupulous (sin where there is no sin). We have to be patient and it's prudent to not include SSPX sermons for the mean time, until Rome says's it's safe to do so.
We may think that SSPX sermon is doing the same thing but our logic must not surpass obedience to the Church. Obedience comes first.
Thank you. God bless. Rev. 21:4

SevenDeMagnus the SSPX never left the Church. They are not in schism because they don't reject the papacy. They are a canonical irregularity. The SSPX is not "scrupulous".

Hi. That may not be updated. SSPX are now considered formal heretics it seems. Their sermons are dangerous because it is scrupulous. Catholics are commanded by Rome not to listen to them at the moment (we must obey even if we don't agree). The latest news on the status of SSPX:
      www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/sspx-schism-turns-heretical
Anyway, it's much wiser to go in favor of caution. We can listen to other non-SSPX priest at the moment, there are many fortunately (like most Franciscans in video sancto, priests from EWTN, Fr. Pisegna to name a few). We'll be alright and safer even we don't listen to SSPX priest sermons- we must wait and be patient until the Church official says we can listen to them. I believe the Church, Rome as even forbidden for SSPX to celebrate mass but sadly they disobeyed (disobedience is the no. 1 sign that SSPX is in error and is inspired by the devil not inspired by the Holy Spirit), going instead to poor countries like the Philippines coz' not many know about their status with the Church, to celebrate and preach the error of their ways- leading poor souls to hell by their disobedience first and foremost (the sermons are not even the no.1 reason, that's only second, the bad example of disobedience is no.1- bad example for other priests especially).
We must favor caution when something is neither condemned nor approved. Humility then patience is the key. We must wait for Rome, wait for the Church to say it's ok.
      God bless. Proverbs 31

Also be careful of these two false prophets (pray they truly convert), these two false catholic "brothers"- Michael and Peter Dismond. Indeed Satan can appear as lambs but are really wolves- they are the most dangerous because you can't fight whom you don't see as your adversary in the spiritual warfare. They have books to sell it seems and controversy is a requirement to sell books sometimes, just saying:

Even Fr. Wolfe and Fr. Ripperger's sermons (as I've mentioned before in other videos, they sound like SSPX Fr. Pfeiffer because they are essentially from the same order, from the same school of thought but one can listen to FSSP sermons I believe and FSSP can celebrate mass) though the Church does not forbid FSSP priests like them (Fr. Ripperger I believe left the FSSP order which is good, that's practicing caution) to preach on the pulpit, we must be also cautious of their sermons (no offense to them) because FSSP is an kind of an offshoot of the SSPX to bring it in full union to the Church:
      www.ewtn.com/expert/answers/sspx_fssp.htm
Always compare Fr. Wolfe and Fr. Ripperger's and FSSP priest's sermons with the priests that have no controversial Orders just to be in the safe side and just to obey the Church's command to be on the cautious side (like you don't believe every claim of private revelation out there right away- one should be cautious and guided by the Church- obedience in short), comparing it to other Orders like Franciscanfriars, orders in EWTN, bishop Barron, Fr. Pisegna, Etc.
      God bless. Proverb 31

For me however, I just to be safe I won't listen anymore to Fr. Wolfe nor Fr. Ripperger's sermons- though since Fr. Ripperger's not FSSP anymore, I guess maybe one could (consult your spiritual director or find a holy knowledgeable priest to spiritually direct you is best). More so with SSPX priests like Fr. Pfeiffer- will avoid it for now 100%.

      +Jacob Standfill
Hi Jacob. The sacrament of confession can be difficult to understand. It's fair to ask, "why not just go directly to Jesus?"
The answer is that confession is meant to be a public (i.e. at least to another person) event. The Bible doesn't say, confess mentally to Jesus. The Bible tells us to confess our sins to one another (James 5:16). Jesus was a human, and he knew that for us to experience his forgiveness we need to experience human forgiveness. That's why he gave his disciples the authority to not only forgive sins, but to withhold forgiveness as well (John 20:23). Does that mean that the disciples were perfect? No, Peter denied Jesus three times, and even after the resurrection Paul needed to confront him (Gal 2:11). But Peter, and the priests of today can grant forgiveness of sins not because they have Christ's divinity or perfection, but because they have been given the ability to forgive sins by Jesus. Going to a priest is going to Jesus.
For more on confession, I recommend this article. It's a very through explanation of why confession is biblical.

Jacob Standfill I go to a priest to confess my sins to God as Jesus commanded. It is a sacrament. It is God's idea to use His priests to administer absolution. The proud refuse to do this. God Bless you.

Catholics do not believe that we repent to man. We repent to All Mighty God, and God has given us the Grace through the Apostles and their successors to forgive Sin as it is written in the Gospels you stole and call your own.

Jacob you ask a very good question no disrespect. Ask yourself which is easier to admit your sins ( which we should all do when we pray to God ) or to a stranger? To a stranger it carries weight in the sense that you have to humble yourself and it is difficult but humility pleases God but hard for we mere mortals to practice daily. So we don't confess to the priest per se. When a priests absolves our sins IT IS BY THE AUTHORITY OF GOD and is clearly stated when said no leave no one in doubt.
Now this is the reason why Catholics go to confession ( sacrament of reconciliation ) See Matthew 16:19 and further explanation in the CCC.
      - During his public life Jesus not only forgave sins, but also made plain the effect of this forgiveness: he reintegrated forgiven sinners into the community of the People of God from which sin had alienated or even excluded them. A remarkable sign of this is the fact that Jesus receives sinners at his table, a gesture that expresses in an astonishing way both God’s forgiveness and the return to the bosom of the People of God. (CCC 1443)
In imparting to his apostles his own power to forgive sins, the Lord also gives them the authority to reconcile sinners with the Church. This ecclesial dimension of their task is expressed most notably in Christ’s solemn words to Simon Peter: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." The office of binding and loosing which was given to Peter was also assigned to the college of the apostles united to its head. (CCC 1444)

Priests, bishops, cardinals, etc. do NOT have the authority to make such bold statements regarding one’s salvation…saying that even “one” mortal sin “cuts them off from God”. (They are NOT God). ONLY Jesus determines that. Nobody on Earth truly knows. By having such laws, stating, “that a person who dies in a state of mortal sin won’t be saved”, such “rule-makers” are wrongfully putting a limit to God’s love and mercy. God is greater than that, and ONLY He determines who is fit to enter Heaven. He looks at the big picture of a person’s life, their devotion & love for Him, and how much repentance is in their heart. Yes, you have to pay for sins not expiated on Earth…that’s what Purgatory is for.
