I have a suggestion, hang your window blind as close to the ceiling as you can and let the bottom of it just cover the top of the woodwork of the window. Love the office project! Well done! Only two suggestions : move the blind up one foot if you’ve retained the length and add a long seat cushion to the base of the window for use as a window seat as your friend indicated. The kids will love it!
Still rocking the 2008 Chrysler Town and Country over here. We have hauled everything you can imagine in that minivan (appliances, SO much furniture, bags of concrete, enough lumber to finish our basement, drywall, antique doors… you name it, we’ve probably shoved it in a minivan) and it’s still kicking.

The color choice, the stain, and that art piece absolutely made this makeover! It’s so gorgeous and love the candle sconces as framework for the painting. This looks amazing! However I must say I believe the leather chairs were perfect in the space. I feel their coloring complimented the space so much more especially with only one chair having the throw blanket. Balanced but homey perfection. Either way the place is stunning. You make me wanted to learn to use these tools and equipment.

You said many times that was the best part. side note: I had a paid for, 2013 car. Last month I had a fender bender which totaled my car (dang it!) No one was hurt except my car. Then I bought a paid for 2012 car using the funds from my insurance. That hurt but no car payment! No car payment is the best!
We have the exact same (bought with cash years ago) 2011 van & the same love for it. 😂 She makes old lady noises sometimes but she has over 300,000 miles as of last month!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 We celebrated by getting her a new pair shoes at the tire shop. The technicians thought we were crazy. 😂
i still have my old girl 2011 durango with 280k miles. she is my favorite. i gave up my big trucks for her... she tows, stows and cruises just like when i bought her.

Used cars are so awesome, even with repairs now and then it is still cheaper than new car payments and high insurance. We started paying cash for our vehicles about 20 yrs ago.
When I installed under mount drawer slides like those I cut myself too!!! They are so freaking sharp ! I actually injured my hands all up with them! I was so glad when I was done. You did an amazing job as always Andrea !

I drive a 2011 SRX Cadillac. We bought it in 2014 with 40,000 miles. It is paid for, still looks so nice and hit 70,000 miles, I can’t remember when. We ride in my husband‘s ram longhorn truck more than my vehicle .

i drive the most beat up 06' honda Civic. It was my first car at 16...i will be 29 in February! Its good on gas, no car payments, and the insurance is like $500/year.
I'm still driving my 1995 Ford Taurus. I have had to make some expensive repairs but that is to be expected on such an old car. There are things that I haven't bothered fixing. The driver's window is the only one that works properly. I need to get the pump fixed for the windshield wiper fluid. I have to finagle the windshield wipers to get them to completely close once I'm done using them. I can no longer use the switch inside the car to pop open the door to the gas tank. I'm sure there are a few things I've forgotten. 😆 I won't be replacing it because I will no longer be driving once the car dies or I'm unable to due to a progressive degenerative muscle disease. But it's been a great car and I've really enjoyed driving it. 😊
