Man, if u put a little curve in the ramp your truck will jump so much smoother! When your take off angle is flat your rear wheels tent to hit and bounce instead of hit and roll threw. Badass truck tho! I got those same wheels with 10mm hex wideners, max6 esc, rpm rear carriers, upgraded gray traxxas servo, she's fun as hell man! Later

heck even on my Maxx v2 I'm running 100wt on all 4 shocks and I fill them enough to the point that just the compression of the oil can push the rod out without the springs even installed yet

If the rod pushes out by itself that means you have rebound which you dont want

Do that mean you have air in your shock? Otherwise is should stay where it is. Your shocks will perform bad

oil is incompressible, you have air in the shock ... it should be filled with oil without any air (not even micro-bubbles), just oil. With the cap fully tight, the rod should stay in place anywhere you put it.

Like the other guys said, don’t want air in your shocks. Youll blow them on hard landings

Awesome info brother. Thank you for sharing. What about center diff oil? Did you use thicker oil in the center diff?

Wow nice truck and how long do your shocks last built like this I’ve never seen them done like this😎thanks for the insight🧐

Shocks will last a long LONG time if you don’t feel like servicing them. Basically the only reason to service them is to change to different oil. I don’t notice much of a difference over time. I don’t think the shock oil breaks down over time very much

The difference is that it doesn’t flip over after landing now, I’d say that’s a difference
