No bugs, please. Ran 4 days on the old 5K Coleman generator in the storm. Hadn't been run in several years and the battery was shot. Replaced the battery and it popped 2ice and ran. 10 horse Briggs flathead I/C with cast iron sleeve. Drained tank and ran dry and changed oil. Ready for the next one after tank grommet change. Even mowed and 69% battery left. High and lots of leaves. Neighbor has a Toro battery job. Does his whole yard on one charge. Typical Echo. Ready to run. Happy weekend
Great video. I worked on a few Echos trimmers and what a joy to fix them compared to the 99 dollar ones . I have a 99 dollar trimmer for backup and it does the job just a pain to work on.
Good video! I rarely see repair videos on Echo equipment. I'm guessing because Echo's don't need repair as much as others. I store my 2-cycle equipment (almost all Echo) in a garage. Not heated or air conditioned, but not exposed to the weather and insects. This just shows that if you neglect your equipment enough. even Echo's will need repair. BTW, I love my Echo PAS system.
My special mower runs great, it's a Craftsman FWD push mower with electric start and it has a sticker that says 80 year anniversary special edition Craftsman mower which is amazing, i now own this mower and i got it running great
Echo switched to those intake gaskets from the style you replaced it with. I can only imagine it was cost related, but they have ALWAYS ripped apart when I've encountered them. I replace them with the older style just like you did and no issues. I had someone up the street bring me a blower to look at for him, said it bogged down. Had a mud dauber (sp?) next inside the muffler opening. That was a pain to get broken up and removed, but it ran great after that. Pretty sure, this is the 2nd or 3rd item he brought me with those nests in them; one was on the ignition coil & flywheel....made some interesting noises lol
I don't have problems with mud dobbers here . But funny enough I did find a wasp hanging out under the cover of my trimmer while I was doing a spark pug change. I quick blast of insect spray finished that problem.
Hey bro what's up? Cool repair. My equipment are always left inside my house but unfortunately insects can get to them so before I start my equipment I will usually give them a quick once over before starting up my equipment.
i keep mine stored inside and hardly and problems with mine except just a good inspection of the spark plug and well a thoro view on the fuel lines and fuel filter and besides that she pops and fires and idles the next and of course regularly changing of the spark plug will ignite the engine to fire up for sure and i always recommend using good type of qaulity spark plugs and NGK or Champion Brand are a good brand for sure and not those Dud ones like Torch or Denso from memory.
you mean for the water sprayer? I'm using an airless paint sprayer using only water. I get great pressure, but it's not high enough to hurt you, and it uses very little water.
Hi sir. I have Stihl weed eater and when you prime the carburetor no gas comes up so I replaced all gaskets, new fuel line still no gas come into carburetor so what my missing on this weed eater thank you
sure thing, it's the carb. There's something not working inside the carb, or there's a blockage in it, an that's more than likely keeping fuel from making to the bulb.
Nice fix. Piece of fuel hose, quick clean, new diaphragm, adjuster tweak, & done!! Have to get lucky sometimes
I know right, this one was pretty much by the book.
Happy you're happy having worked on a trimmer that doesn't need too much.
me too, I don't mind a full restoration ,but simple is nice!

nice generator! Glad to see it did it's job

couldn't agree with you more!

that would be my guess as well, but I have a feeling that most that buy Echo, must already have an idea, on how to take care of them too

Very cool!
Great repair. 👍🙏👍🙏

Great fix
thank you!

nothing wrong with that, just so long as you know they might be there.
I remember one time I've found a lawn mower that had wasp nest on it. That was fun.😢
Ouch!
Do you get your fuel line from specific supplier? Some fuel line is pure garbage and breaks easily
I just the stuff from Amazn. I'm not picky about them, just so long as you don't use ethanol gasoline with them.
Echo pas system I never had one of those
I know right, me neither
@@HomeGaragechannel 👍👌😎
Ethanol eats up small engines. Fuel treatment is really needed as ethanol-free is far too expensive. Nice work.
you are correct

you got that right, good spark plugs helps out a lot.
@HomeGaragechannel for sure and too right mate.
What do you use for the spray? Want to do this and would love a recommendation

@@HomeGaragechannel That's a neat trick but I meant the cleaning spray, your equipment always looks so good after that and the rinse.
Ts man you do you
