Nice video! If you’re talking about the noise the reels making. It sounds like your line roller bearing. Easy to swap out usually just one screw. There’s a bearing on the guide/roller that that’s at the end of the bail. Almost always gets water and bearing goes out. I always keep extras.
Yea, I called serious tackle and asked them and they said the same thing! I didnt thing that would be a problem but after I cleaned it, it sounded like a brand new slammer! Thank you for letting me know🙌🙏
I was just at the dike today Friday may 26. If you take your slammer you get it service let I’m know how it went. Definitely no more crocs in the rocks 😂. Been showing your videos at work and hopping i can help y’all get to your ten Gs
I talked to Serious Tackle and they said it could he the line roller. I went ahead and cleaned it and it sounds like a brand new reel! Thank you for sharing!
@@GGAnglers dude I'm having some issues with my neck vertebrae. Also my new GMC Yukon blew up with 11k miles. so things are kinda whack but keep posting videos for us inland folks.
I thought it sounded funny when you casted, son I think you got the "conventional" 10' squadron, the first eyelet is too small for that reel. srry budy about the ankle. But one hell of a fish though.
Awesome catch. Just gained a subscriber. I don't have much experience with jacks. But I target and catch alot of redfish. And in the spring time when there is a bunch of small bait in the water. Topwater can make all the difference. It's loud and it sets itself apart from the abundance of bait. May be why your xrap worked so well in this situation. Tight lines brotha. 🤙
Nice catches. It be nice to point out the tackles that you be using for this session. Like the shads' size, reel and rod. And if you going to release the fish after the pictures, don't slam them onto the rock. Thanks for the video.
Hooked up on one today at the gate and knocked me off balance and almost fell in the water standing on those rocks 😂. Fought it for about 15 minutes then bent the hook and lost it. 💔
BRO THE FIGHTTTTTT, I think that’s why I’m hooked to fishing
Its the best part! Glad we are on the same page🔥😎

Penn Slammer 6500🙌🔥🎣
@@GGAnglers thanks ! love what you do man.
Keep it up!
Try some Big Rattle Trap Lure's
Will try to get some soon, heard they are also good for King Mackerel
@@GGAnglers I would do it with 3 to 5 foot leader under a popping cork with a slow retrieve 🇨🇱
What size pole is that?
Keep up the good work guys 👍🏽👍🏽
Its a 10ft Squadron but I prefer something lighter and a 9ft. The 10ft sure does help cast farther out though. Thank You!

It sounds like you had sand in your reel and it was wearing down the bearings
Yea I called a local tackle shop and they told to clean out the line roller and yup. As soon as I cleaned it out, it sounded like a brand nee reel!
