@@aliveslice He did do some voice acting for this! I finally found out which character he voiced, but only after multiple playthroughs and some achievement hunting. It's a fun secret to sleuth for!
I haven't seen anyone point this out yet, so I'll do it: - Robert "Bob" Hill was a suspect in the murder case in Cube Escape: Case 23, and had a cameo in Cube Escape: Paradox as the author of one of the books called "False Accusations". I don't know how much you know about the context of the voicework you provided, but you might want to go secret hunting. - The guy with the deer head and the cigar was Dale Vandermeer - The Manager (the bald guy with the glasses) was most likely Mr. Owl, since The White Door most likely is a modern equivalent of the Rusty Lake Hotel; a place for Mr. Owl to extract memories from his patients. The "O." that was one of the accounts on the computer was Mr. Owl's, and you can actually log into it. - The old beggar woman bears a striking resemblance to Margaret Eilander, the grandma of the family in Rusty Lake Paradise - The book in which Laura was drawing had the Vanderboom tree symbol on it, as well as the name Rose (who was the last remaining Vanderboom who raised Laura) - Johnsson Bird Food also had a very small cameo in Cube Escape: Paradox. Well, maybe "cameo" isn't the right word, since that was the first time it appeared. A video theorizing about the story would be awesome!
@@konstance13 Yeah, it took me looking it up to realize it's both the name of their "universe" and the company. Because I kept wondering if all the games were connected somehow.

Been a big fan of yours and Rusty Lake's for a while now. I really liked the slow transition closing you did in this video. I know it's a small thing to comment on, and I like your normal outro, but Rusty Lake's music really makes their games, and I felt it was a nice tribute to the talent and effort that they put into this chapter. Also, there's a secret ending if you go to "Achievements". You should play it and make a short video about it. :)
aww a bit sad you missed the last bit, I discovered this series thanks to you and it has become one of my favorites. I've been supporting the devs since
Keep the great job John :)
Rusty Lake games are such a treat.
Your Rusty Lake gameplays are my favorite! I had heard there was a release soon, but I didn't know when. I was pleasantly surprised by this video! Also, good on you for the charity.
I've been waiting for this game for so long, especially watching you play it. It was another fantastic episode in the story of Rusty Lake. I'm also very excited to hear you will be doing a video on all the games and what you think the story means. A big thank you for doing a charity event for the fire fighter's from NSW, I am on the edge of the fire's and we are always on high alert but so far they haven't reached us thanks to the tireless work of fire fighter's and volenteers. Once again thank you for all the support and to anyone who donate's to this worthy cause. ♥
the rusty lake series is one of my favorites of the channel
please make a video going over the story!

Thank you John, the fires was less than a km away from my house on new years eve, very scary situation cause of having a lot of animals and didn't want to leave any behind. We where very lucky but one house was lost sadly
Thank you so much everyone
The usage of Flash for makes this game feel oddly nostalgic
I definitely would be up for a video of you discussing your interpretation of the game
I love these games so much, they always strike an emotional cord that i can't really fully explain
Looked for a video of this on your channel as soon as I saw the game was out. This turnaround is awesome! Looking forward to another one of your great commentaries on a Rusty Lake playthrough.
An hour long video of John playing a point and click game? Hell yeah.
OH my...great video John and thank you for the fundraising stream. You're a legend.
It's funny this game offers pizza and burgers, given the hot takes we had on Stream about food. Everyone, please come to the stream and donate if you can, the links are in John's description!
John watches Mitch Hedburg. Just when I thought he couldn’t get more relatable.
It's like every time I wonder what rusty lake is doing a new game come out and I inhale your video like oxygen

, It's the next installment of the Rusty Lake games!
I am going to have to rewatch and play this myself. As with several of their games, there's some hidden stuff if you snoop around. Unfortunately I had to miss the stream because of work... hope it went well! Thanks for playing and editing!!
