McGill does not ask for Essays or SOP. As an international applicant myself, I can testify that entrance is purely based on grades and they do not ask about your community/Volunteer work.
How to choose the right programme ? I know I have a knack for physics, and am decently interested in computer science and mathematics, but the sheer number of courses mentioned under these subjects bothers me. Please can you help ?

great content thanks, though I have question. Is Tofel or SAT test mandatory? I don't meet any of requirements for not providing proof of proficiency in English, but I have 4.0 converted GPA on CS, should I apply for scholarship or take SAT test first?
As an old alum (class of 81), McGill is relatively easy to get into, but the academics were Darwinian in my time. It was sink or swim. Professors had the freedom to fail 50%+ of students in pre med or engineering classes. There were absolutely no support services for students. Tuition was very low; international students paid the same as quebecers. Two of my roommates got into Harvard and didn’t go because they didn’t qualify for financial aid. McGill was the best value in education at the time, but it came at a price for some of us.

Depends on a lot of factors but it is about 80-85%+
