Also it's lovely to see crowds grace these trails again, after all the hardships the lodge owners, guides, porters and this whole tourist ecosystem had to face in COVID times. Great to see business picking up for these guys.

cant believe we have so much opportunity to make these trips even more of a better experience and make our country a top tourist destination making it one of the top income keeping in mind not making it too expensive but reasonable so everybody can have a opportunity for an experience of their lifetime and with the natural beauty the will wanna make that trip again and again as there are so mancy routes every new one is a new experience and our government is too stupid to see the opportunity to this and also make it an environmental friendly aswell with strict laws in place where people can enjoy without any sort of worries .
its such a shame so much can be done yet nothing in particular has been done .

Those chimneys are for burning dried juniper as an incense, it's an offering to the deities. Fun fact, in Nepali languages, words for juniper and incense pretty much the same.

you guys need to check out northeast India's hill destinations. In Indian mountains all the major destinations are very crowded (to the point of detriment) but as everywhere, tourists all crowd one place and there's 15 destinations all around that one place that no one goes to, keeping them pristine. Buddhist/Tibetan influence very similar to Nepal mountain culture, beautiful views, toy trains, etc etc.

Why do backpackers almost always use the word dangerous iv been up the khumbu 5 times you are more likely to die on a bus, taxi or motorbike ride in nepal than anything else the everest trail from jiri is probably one of the most safest trails in all of Nepal iv done many remote trips in Nepal why not be honest about it, if you find it that dangerous your probably well out of your comfort zone and probably need someone with you who know what they are doing
