I watched so many vlogs from this place. Nobody ever showed this side of treks. Like spending a whole month and still haven't reached the EBC. Extreme dedication and wounderfull experience for you guys. I feel like I am traveling with you guys too.
I'm surprised how high up the Snow Line is. Reading about how Snow Lines change with latitude is pretty interesting. Himalayas has some of the highest (5700m) while Antartica/North Pole is lowest at 0 ft.
I'm loving watching this. You both enjoy every bit of it, especially the tough parts. You should go back round to do the Kongma la pass while you're there.🙏🙏
Another immersive video, another video with INSANEEEEEEEEE views. You guys are incredible with the cinematography and shot selection. Immaculate vibes. Just curious, do you guys ever end up arguing or fighting with each other off camera? Because you both seem so chill, but I know that in undertakings like this tempers are BOUND to flare up at one point or another surely. Travelling does that to people even when they're comfortable, let alone in rugged terrain doing strenuous work.
Fuck me! The views are amazing! Olivia and yourself make me so jealous! You really are kicking arse. Love your work guys! Mario, have they been providing you with any green cabbage?! 😉 It wouldn't matter how much further you get. I'm so proud of how far you have walked already, given you said that most fly in to where you just were and start from there!
sun warmed water when you get above the tree line where its to high for anything to grow the locals save all the Yak shit for fire fuel during winter.......... no fires in summer or very litte fire fuel.......
I wish I knew what days the filming was done on. I'm planning on going next year and to be honest, there are too many people. I want to time my trek at the end of the fall trekking season in early winter. I believe that is going to be in December now. Yes, I know it's cold in December, but I'd rather freeze than be on a trail with thousands of trekkers. Beautiful shots.
From Jiri to EBC (without going to Gokyo) took us almost 30 days but that included 9- 10 rest days of no hiking for acclimatising and editing content, many people do it a lot faster if short on time, we just enjoyed taking it slow 🙂

We mentioned roughly when it was filmed in the description, but this part of the trek was around mid to end October

How many days did the EBC trek take you in total in the end ?
