I’m sure you guys probably know but make sure you go into the wideband settings and if the exact model for your innovate doesn’t come up, select custom linear and innovate should provide voltage level parameters for the gauge that way the Wideband and the Megasquirt readings are very close. That’ll help you a ton if you upgrade for the auto tune
It's the actual wideband module that isn't calibrating. Just stays stuck in the last step of the calibration faze trying to heat up and never finishes. If it'd calibrate it'd definitely pull up and log in the megasquirt. We've just never had good luck with innovate. Brand new out the box and came as an option with the ecu. Sucks but is ehat it is. Will have an x series aem here this week for it and should be ready to rock hopefully. As soon as I say something it's damn sure to go wrong though 😅

The F150 never dies! This thing is so nuts. I have a babied 2007 5.4 3v with a blower and it has a stupid misfire I cant fix and THIS THING RUNS WITH WATER IN THE EXHAUST!!! cMON! lol
I had that lock in 5th issue with a svt ford contour my very last pull on the free way was getting about to get off the freeway and it 140mph she was locked in 5th no breaking her down so had to do the exact same pat the gas an slowly gain speed good thing I was only 5mins from the house
Not sure if you know but the stock bottom end can only hold 450whp 4.6 . Cool part is the dohc cobra 4.6 even the one's from the navigator can handle 800whp you can also by the stock crankshaft very cheap from the cobra crankshaft are good for over 1000hp ! It's very easy to build a mod engine!
That's basically all we've messed with for the past decade is 2v 4.6 motors. We're pretty familiar with them. Can Definitely make more but it's all on the tune and maybe a little bit of luck lol. 450 is about the safe stopping point though
John Mihovetz prepped 4.6 4V has been 5.88 @ 256mph with the oe block, heads, timing components and factory Kellogg crank. 3000 + hp @ 10,000. You're a little off on your figure 😉

you guys need scavenging pump for those turbo it wont drain with its current location and the megasqirt need hall effect cam synsor stock cam sensor wont sync and you will have startup and idle issues
I take it you skipped through the video, the car is running a scavenge pump and was shown a few times and explained. Also have zero issues running the factory cam sensor. Syncs, Starts and idles perfectly fine.
Hey guys I’ve been following for a minute now and I have a 97 ford 4.6 2v and it’s a great car but some how it threw a theft light code on the dash and I’ve heard you can bypass that by tuning it and I was wondering what y’all use and how I could get started with tuning because there’s literally nothing wrong with the car besides that it runs great and it’s killing me with it just setting in my driveway any help would be appreciated greatly

I have a similar setup. Are you having turbo draining issues with the way you have the drain lines tee'd directly into the scavenge pump. I'm thinking of trying your method and eliminating my catch reservoir, then to pump, method.
Agree with others budget builds are the shit ...... Bro innovate are super picky....they HAVE TO HAVE new sensors....in my experience that is...they are known to be sent with old or brittle sensors. Either way hope the best wanna see this old two valve up and running!
@@WillBABH yeah I have heard the same it's the only one you have to recalibrate every so often and it's often lol I got the scg1 tho it's a boost controller and AFR cut gauge all kinds of shit it was expensive like 320 off eBay and it's been holding up but I also have gone through two sensors but they do have a shorter wire wideband as a cheaper replacement from AutoZone orielys that I'm gonna be using from now on the newest one I got has been fine
I made the mistake of buying into the innovate bullshit and wasted my money on not one but two of their trash can controllers. After the third or so time I had to take the sensor out on the 2nd controller, I gave that junk away and bought an aem instead. Oddly got something like 60k miles out of that one and it’s still the original sensor.
Aem has never let me down. Wishing i could say the same for innovate. Unfortunately this isn't our first issue with them. Aem x series has been ordered and on the way.
Possibly, I'd personally rather do the volvo wagon we got but its gonna need a good bit of work whereas this thing already runs and should rip as is so it depends what yall would rather see and if will decides to sell it or not.
