It's a good font for what it was created. To be on the ballon messages of Microsoft Bob - A dog that was created for a comic software in 1995 - that used Times New Roman and was difficult to read. Comics Sans is just a legacy of that time and the "bad fame" is from bad use. Not because it's a bad font :)
Good idea. I've never seen a tutorial on the legal side of branding before. In my training, we covered use of photographic inspiration, but never font licences...
I wondering why this channel is so underrated. The content is excellent and everything is harmonious. People just love to hear static sounds and watching others playing video games and learning nothing from them.
i dont want to sound mean - but it's his accent. It sounds like his working way too hard to get his words out, and they come out so lazy and poorly enunciated that it gives me a headache. The content is pretty good though. He really lost me on the nintendo switch logo episode.

Hey will. This is good basic info. My only complaints would be that it all feels a bit rushed, especially when you show the printed papers. Also i would have loved like 5 more business examples and typeface choices (barber, photographer, dentist, car shop, hairstylist ect)

Beautiful video! I studied graphic design in college but haven't done much with it for several years. Typography was one of my favorite things and I used to be good at it lol but I haven't practiced and every time I do something with handwritten type I'm unpleasantly surprised at how mediocre it is lol I'm headed to your hand lettering videos...this had some great tips...I'm excited to start playing again...I'm primarily a watercolor artist and I would love to start including more text in my paintings...that was random and all over the place lol thanks

I mean, your background looks nice and you look cool for sure, it is just that I had to imagine and recall the typography for most of the time.
Awesome video! If i can point out one drawback: you should have detailed sans serif typefaces into sub categories, like you did for serif and script typefaces. You have humanist (Gill Sans), Transitional (Helvetica) and Geometric (Futura).

I'm 17 and I started trying making logos not a long time ago. I'm bad at painting so I picked fonts for logos in the internet. The question is: shoud I stop picking fonts in the internet and learn to draw or it is not that bad
Good video, but the constant jumps in between your face and what you’re talking about are very distracting and don’t allow much time to actually analyze the fonts

Were serifs not used to help clarity in printing presses? It helps to prevent the important part of the glyph from having no ink.
