I can’t get pass 2:58 when you swing the yoyo over. Are you releasing the string wrapped around your left thumb and right pointer finger as the yoyo lands on the string?
yeah sorry, I meant to address what was happening as a part of the video but I got busy and forgot. so yeah when you swing the yoyo over to that string, your letting go of the strings on your left thumb and right pointer finger. the force of the yoyo hitting the intended string should kinda knock the other strings free (if that makes sense) so the only part of you that should have contact with the string after that stage is having the wrap on your right hand (or throw hand) and then some string going around your free hand pointer (thumb to but I just do it out of habit.) so i hope this helps if you need more help pls comment and I can make a short about it, if a visual is needed. thank you.
