Just wanted to say that your tutorials are excellent. You focus on the "minor", little details that make all the difference. I think a lot of people forget how new this feels to someone who is fresh to it, and those little nuances make a huge difference. Also, suggesting people take it step-by-step, and actually giving them the breakdowns for it, is excellent. When there are too many new things going on, it's hard to find the exact point you need to improve to be able to progress.. breaking it down into little steps is how to do it I think. Thanks again, keep them coming, and please keep up this format of breaking it down and telling people what it should feel like, look like etc.. those little details really make a difference! hey gentry whenever im doing this trick, when the yoyo is coming round to land on the string just before it lands on the string it start winding up any reason why this happens?
3:22 does doing this give you string burn? I cannot tell if I am doing something incorrectly (when moving my finger along the string for a trick and sometimes getting burned), or if I am just supposed to tough through it
I live in Singapore and I wanted to get the master pack yo-yo bundle but because of where I stay and that I am only 12 the shipping is almost as expensive as the yo-yo so my mother would not allow me to get it as if you change the US dollars to SINGAPORE dollars it comes over $100 so I could not get it so is there any local Brand’s that I can buy yo-yo from for cheaper prices

I got the spin star and the only problem that I have is when I do a trick the yoyo will come back to me at the middle of the trick
Try unscrewing the yoyo half a turn. Once you’re doing double or nothing it’s probably time for an upgrade :)

When I practice this the string burns my left index finger. How are you doing it without burning yourself? Should I get a glove?
Don’t pull your hands against the string so much. Touch it very lightly as it slides.
