Been throwing for about 6 weeks. Been going over mounts like crazy and it's finally time to try something involved. I know I'm reaching for the stars right now but i really like this trick. Ty for the great tuts!
any tips for making the slack actually come around at 6:45? can't seem to get it to come around without the yoyo also coming around otherwise it just wont come around at all
@@StargazerOo1 Still haven't figured it out, but it's looking better than it did, I'm just kinda throwing it even harder but I'm sure there's something I'm missing.
@@mtompkin7225 Try watching him do the trick at full speed in the beginning of the video. It seems like when he does it at full speed he's kind of pulling the yoyo up while throwing the string down. I'm just trying to do that portion of the trick faster and faster because I think maybe that's what will do it lol. Also, he says to angle your hands down during that portion and i've found that that helps a lot too
There were a couple things I struggled with trying to learn. I thought it was the yoyo or maybe the length of the string but the problem was just a matter of not practicing enough times. Just keep trying it. As long as you're doing what he does in the video you should get it eventually.
Dude how long did it take you to learn each element? I feel like I must suck or something because I have to break it down and learn every single piece by itself. And even then I’m not sure i can do this. Granted I’ve only been throwing for a few months, but still. Second question, how long have you been throwing?
I think it's fairly normal to have to break it down to every piece of the trick, yoyo'ing takes time! And certainly don't worry if you dont quite get some elements yet if you've only been throwing for a couple of months, things will smooth out over time! ;) Even after you manage to get the individual steps down, it can really take months for a trick to become really smooth, but these things will come naturally, just enjoy en practise different tricks and the rest will follow. Cheers!
Mark4that well that makes me feel a little better, thank you. It’s hard to know how long it really takes for people to get this good at these tricks so I appreciate the heads up on the timeline. I will just continue to practice and learn and hopefully I just naturally get better with time and practice n
Late to the party here but it takes a lot of practice and a lot of patience. It took me a day or two just to learn how to Breakaway and I still dont have the best sideways throw. It also took me hours on end to learn how to play with a traditional Duncan Butterfly when I was younger. For some reason I couldnt get the timing down for it to come back to me nor did I have a good throwing technique at the time. It's all a matter of time and practice.
So I have done it so long without any help that I know alot of elements and tricks that I just came up with on my own but I have a hard time copying other peoples even though I’m likely already doing it in some fashion on my own so it’s pretty strange but it always takes time I probably watched this video 25 times before I mastered the trick
First element took me a solid 45-min to an hour to get smooth and clean.. the second element? Forget about it it’s gonna take so long I can’t keep the momentum of the string going once it passes through the yo-yo it stops I have to flick my wrist really awkward to get it up and over the front in order to complete that final laceration
Yessssss I did it!!⚡️⚡️
You learned the trick?

MONETIZED BABY!!!
You're Tuts are always clean, easy to understand, and edited beautifully.

You're gonna try swinging your throw hand in a kind of counter-clockwise motion after dropping the slack
