Even though the album about the sold as much as his first album called king of stage, he didn’t a solidified hit on the forever album unlike king of stage also. So he most likely doesn’t perform because most his audience wouldn’t know the songs.
Syl Davis Man I feel the same way about that album and especially the Bobby album. With the right promotion, Bobby would've been halfway to Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame already. I feel like the label was just Pro-New Edition and not Pro-solo careers of the NE members

Forever is an amazing album. I just think that if the album had at least one smash hit like a "Prerogative", or "Humpin' Around" it would've had more commercial success. Quality-wise it was a great album no doubt, and this is arguably the best song on it.
I wish he committed to just to making a ballad album. Because most of the fast paced songs besides feelin inside all the fast paced songs sound like filler tracks. Despite that fact this album should at least went platinum. During this time the new edition was kind of blackballed from the industry after this. Johnny gill had one big hit with LSG and that was about it.

Forever is my favorite album from Bobby. Ppl real slept on this album.

It was an good effort from him but it wasn't Teddy Riley baby faced produced so enter the flop!!
