The best RnB all male group ever imo , Jodeci had great voices but it really was just the two, this group has all 6 that give different dynamics to every song. They do songs like this with such quality, there will never be another group like them, in fact we don't have any RnB groups anymore, I just want to go back to the 90s where I spent my days in tempest music shop buying albums on import, new edition , hi five , silk , jodeci, h town , SWV , TLC I want those sounds back , hopefully there will be a return to the 90,s RnB sound. New Editions Heart Break album is still the greatest album that inspired a generation.
Singing wise in NE only 4-- really 3 out of the 6 in this group have great voices and 1 overshadows the majority with leads and background vocals on the actual tracks Live performances are usually when you get to really hear the rest on an equal footing with harmonies if they don't use a backtrack and sometimes it sounds lackluster because of it But they are a great RnB group regardless
