My St Anthony miracle: One time I asked that he find and return a class ring I had lost somewhere out in the world 25 + years earlier.( to prove to a friend that prayer works) One day a few months later...standing in the back of church waiting for the priest to come for a baptism...I recieved a text from someone who found me on FB based upon the inscription inside the class ring!!!! 25+ years after the ring had been lost...the 14k gold ring was returned to me through the intercession of St. Anthony! Did i mention 25 Years!? That is just one example of the assistance he has afforded me....St Anthony has become a true friend from heaven and I feel him praying for and watching over me.
How did your friend react when you showed it to him/her? St. Anthony I must keep on note, as I tend to lose things not so easily replaceable when I do lose something (like a blessed rosary somehow :( ).
@@museluvr she was astonished...I think it was more than she could take in, in that moment. But a seed was planted. Now I guess all I can do is water that seed with prayer for her. But heaven is real and they are all ready to help us and intercede for us...just for the asking :) I feel like the devil often try's to help me * misplace* or lose my blessed rosary all the time. But once again St Anthony always has my back and he will have yours too!
Saints Jude and Benedict have never failed to answer my prayers for hope and protection. Any failings have always been on my end. I've never thought about the saints not answering our prayers outside of it being something we don't need or for another reason we just aren't aware of. As always, another excellent talk by Fr Ripperger.
I once made a novena to St. Therese of Lisieux and on the ninth day got a distinct answer that I should have been asking to know what God wanted, not what I wanted.
I love learning from this particular father, his teachings are pretty awesome & never boring. That being said, I've recently returned to my Catholic & while I'm all in for Mass, Rosary, & Adoration I'm not there yet to pray to saints & angels. I still have this fear that it's wrong idk.
I heard a minister say we shouldn't pray to angels and can't get it out of my head, so I just talk to them and ask them to ask God for me. Even the prayer to St. Michael the archangel we pray that God rebuke the devil. The words of the prayers help us feel better.
@@sue-by7sh I hear you. I kind of just stand around awkwardly when everyone at mass is saying the St. Michael prayer. I get this huge fear that it would upset God, & my mind always goes back to the Bible (OT) when Moses is saying how jealous God is. Its probably just me, being paranoid, seeing as I stepped away from the Catholic Church for a bit. Buuut I'd rather be careful & keep studying, poking around different books, re aquainting myself with the Catechism, etc to make sure. For the longest time I believed that there was only one intercessor, so to go to idk how many?!🤯 total freak out for me lol
All of y'all, ask God to show you how He wants you to honor his mother and the Saints in heaven!!! They are examples how to live and give your life for God. It's like going to fitness instructor to ask questions and guidance to become more healthy. You see how they do things differently from others, for a proper end result. The Saints are more alive in heaven than on earth. Spiritual family who want to help and guide souls to God for the greater glory of God. God's blessings to y'all! AVE MARIA🙏🙏🙏
@@jusme2888 Thank you so much for sharing with me about how your worries on this matter have been lifted. Sorry my response is a year late, may have helped more if earlier,( was listening to old talks while gardening) May Almighty God bring great blessings to you and your family for many years to come. 🙏🙏🙏 AVE MARIA!
My momma took us to the next parish over for folk song mass when we were teens. We loved it, we wanted to go each week and our cousins were in the parish.
When you observe that the fire in your room is getting dull, you do not always put on more coal, but simply stir with the poker; so God often uses the black poker of adversity in order that the flames of devotion may burn more brightly.

I would like to suggest and ask Fr Ripperger to give us the Catholic Church’s teaching on the « flow of grace » and the obstacles to grace, those obstacles that come from us, like being in mortal sin and those from the outside, like being in a schismatic Church like the Orthodox. I know people that are looking at the Orthodox Church with sympathy because it has valid Sacrements. My response is that, although they have valid Sacrements there is no flow of grace from them. This would also be the case for the NO mass, because in that case it would be a schismatic rite, thus no flow of grace from them. Thank you.
Who are you to proclaim that no grace flows from Sacraments in the Orthodox Church. I have found no Roman Catholic doctrine to support your proclamation.

St. Martin de Porres was the saint Fr. Ripperger was referring to, but surely both are very worthy men!
