Our priest insist on receiving communion on the tongue, veil for woman, no pants only long dress, dress pants and shirts for men. Every new person has to meet with the priest prior to coming to our church and confession is a must. Such reverence. We are so blessed.

People touched Jesus and He healed them.
So what’s wrong touching the bread?
      The apostles touched the bread.
The RCC says that it is a direct successor of the apostles, but the RCC won’t touch the bread.
The RCC is disobeying the apostles.

No where in the bible does it say that the apostles were roman catholic. No where in the bible does it say that the apostles offered the catholic sacrifice of the mass to the heavenly Father. No where in the bible do the apostles repeat the same liturgy that the catholic priests recite during the sacrifice of the mass.No the apostles were NOT the first priests.Jesus did away with the priesthood on the cross at calvary.Your statement is based on the pride of the papacy, a papacy that claims everything for itself.

@@bornagainsaint1 if all you have to go by is the Bible then you are going to be lacking in education because even the Bible says that you can't just solely rely on the Bible. Read Thessalonians. Who do you think gave you the Bible in the first place? And beyond that let's do a little history lesson. You said that the disciples were not the first priests and they did not celebrate the mass. Apparently history would disagree with you. All of the earliest documents about the church would disagree with you on that. Read the didache. It is a early first century document that describes the mass that looks pretty much like what we celebrate in the traditional Latin Mass.

I genuflect at the first pew on my way to Holy Communion so that I can use the pew to help myself get back up, and I only receive the Host on my tongue, but unless there is a kneeler or communion rail, I receive our Lord standing because I don't trust my ability to stand up again without having something to push off from. I hope it's ok that I remain standing. I mean no disrespect or irreverence to our Lord. I wish every church would understand the importance of providing kneelers or a Communion rail.

What is more important than physically kneeling is your interior disposition. You’re kneeling in your soul, so be comforted you’re doing nothing wrong I assure you!!! Your holy desire to show as much reverence as you are physically able is commendable. Keep cultivating humility. God knows you’re kneeling even though no one else may, and that means you’re storing that precious treasure in Heaven.

    • @michaelrutz8056
      @michaelrutz8056 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

I agree that the interior disposition is also important, but that's why I usually just kneel in the first pew during Communion time since because of the pandemic most priests refuse to give on the tongue anyway and I'm also too shy to suddenly fall on the knees without support or being sure that the priest cannot refuse me Communion...

Is ok to recieve Communion if one is in a civil marriage but in a Chaste relationship? I was unaware that a civil marriage was not proper, and married many years ago but am trying to get all of the documents needed to Marry in my church, as I have 2 children out of wedlock. I have been advised by my Priest that as long as there is Chastity, I can receive the sacraments of reconciliation and Communion, while I await the documents needed for the sacrament of marriage. Since there are several issues with mass sacrilege, I don't want to offend my Lord anymore than i have already, I love our Lord and am grateful for he suffered so much for me and all of humanity. Though unworthy as I am, I can't live without him. There has been a total abstinence of anything conjugal and we live as siblings. My parish priest has advised that receiving on the tongue is an old tradition, and I cry if I receive communion on the hand, and can't kneel because of issues getting up. I can only get up if I have something to hold on to and am worried i will be denied Communion on the tongue if I kneel and can't get back up. Sime Priests refuse to give Communion on the tongue.

Thank you Reverend Fr. Ripperger. nice to see Catholic ladies dress modestly yet a few in sleeveless and immodest clothing. The Holy Bible, Timothy warns us Christians to dress modestly everywhere or we will be answerable for it. Don’t forget daughters and other younger confused girls will walk in our footsteps so be on your guard but most of all, guard ourselves from everwatching eyes from above where God said “I watch you in secret”. Strong male role models -> strong families and in turn -> strong nations.

It is sad that I witness mostly people from other Americas that have moved here receiving Eucharist on their knees, and not US long time residents, generally. Some of us have actually been called out by lay people in leadership in the churches for being too religious, bowing too low and faced with critical correction, "we don't do that anymore" ! I ended up leaving that church. I love your teaching on "the altar". hallelujah!

    • @julieelizabeth4856
      @julieelizabeth4856 5 ปีที่แล้ว +12

We here in the US have been social engineered for so long into thinking that what other people think of us is what matters. Being part of the right "clique" and being part of the great athletic team and wearing the latest fashions and dating the "cool" person are what matter most. It was even like that in my Catholic high school in the 80's and I don't think it's gotten any better. Being pious or a "goody-two-shoes" was frowned upon. We need to get back to what the Beatitudes teach us, what will really matter in the end. I'm lucky enough to be in a small town parish that got a new priest 8 years ago who is very traditional. Masses are ad orientem and TLM at least once a week. Altar rails are put out before communion and most people now use them and receive on the tongue. No more altar girls either. Of course some people left the parish for those reasons but it's filling up again with young families. I hope this priest stays and I hope the kids grow up knowing how lucky they are. How "religious" a person is shouldn't be on a scale where you choose where you want to be. We have been warned about being lukewarm, too.

@Julie Elizabeth ,;, you’re absolutely right! I came from a traditional Catholic family with priests and nuns , still after coming to this country and raising kids here, I tried my best to send them to CCD at Church. But they have no clue about the proper teachings of Catholic Church. They were not taught right. I had to teach them after they grew up; that’s when I knew this. No wonder kids go away from Church! This was in 80’s.

I almost left Holy Mother Church because of this and a few other things and I’m a 46 year old cradle Catholic. Thank God He never let me leave and has brought me closer to Him. I have since learned more about my faith and only receive from a priest. I also prefer to go to a church where the communion rail is being used. Redemptionis Sacramentum
[92.] Although each of the faithful ***always*** has the right to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, at his choice,[178] if any communicant should wish to receive the Sacrament in the hand, in areas where the Bishops’ Conference ***with the recognitio of the Apostolic See*** has given permission, the sacred host is to be administered to him or her. However, special care should be taken to ensure that the host is consumed by the communicant in the presence of the minister, so that no one goes away carrying the Eucharistic species in his hand. If there is a risk of profanation, then Holy Communion should ***not*** be given in the hand to the faithful.[179]

Reception from a priest who is distributing the body is not or does not also distribute the precious blood as well to the congregations so it seems most often. I’ve only seen one time that a Priest distribute the precious blood at the ‘ extraordinary form “ and that was only to one person a female who came to the altar rail deliberately last.

That would be ideal and I'm lucky enough to be part of a parish that has been working hard toward this for the past 8 years. Masses are ad orientem or Latin, altar rails are put out before communion and most people use them and receive on the tongue, and no more altar girls. Our priest does still have extraordinary ministers though. Catholics have gotten so used to Mass taking one hour maximum that people would start getting restless if it goes into "overtime." He also has to do two Sunday morning Masses before noon in two different small towns so he is already rushed out of the first one but wants to spend a little time getting to know those parishioners and talking with them after their Mass too. That is a tough situation with no easy answer. His next step may be to change Mass times to the early one being even earlier and the later one being even later and everything will just take as long as it takes. But people are resistant to changes that make things more difficult. Baby steps, I guess.

In those messages Jesus tells us he did not ask for Ministers of the Eucharist and there is no such a Thing as Special Minister of the Eucharist.

Once when I received Communion in my hands the priest gave me a part of the fragmented priest’s Host and after placing it in my mouth I noticed several particles of the Host on the palm of my left hand. I wasn’t sure what to do. I knew the particles were Jesus just as much as the larger Host so I licked them off my palm. I now hear that there are particles of Hosts often falling to the floor where they are walked on by unknowing people. What if I hadn’t noticed those particles of Jesus on the palm of my hand? I receive on my tongue now.

No reverence to the Holy Eucharist in today's Catholic Church (ie not recieving Communion in the mouth, kneeling) is the major cause for the great poverty or lack of Saints today.... Compare and you will find that all the Saints to whom we have a devotion to are from the TRADITIONAL Mass days where the Holy Eucharist was only received on the tongue and kneeling...AND the Sacred Host was only touched by the CONSECRATED HANDS OF THE PRIEST ALONE.
LET'S JOIN THE RESISTANCE. LET'S FIGHT FOR OUR JESUS AND DEFEND HIM IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST. LETS RECEIVE HIM ONLY ON THE TOUGUE AND KNEELING. DON'T GIVE UP ON HIM WHO IS YOUR LOVE❤.

By the words "Do this in memory of me," Jesus commanded the Apostles and their successors to repeat his actions and words "until he comes again." That is why during Consecration, when the priest proclaims Jesus' words at the Last Supper over the bread and wine, "the power of the words and the action of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, make sacramentally present, under the species of bread and wine, Christ's Body and Blood, his sacrifice offered on the cross for all" (CCC, no. 1353). Therefore, during Consecration, the priest is never commanding God to effect transubstantiation, but rather obeying God's command to take effect the changing of bread and wine into the real Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. So as to realize that priest is acting in the Person of Christ. Jesus Christ is actually offering the sacrifice of the cross in the Mass through the celebrating priest acting in Persona Christi (in the Person of Christ).

I usually receive on the tongue, however after receiving from a EM of HC I got a mouthful of aftershave, this is causing me a great distraction when going to receive as I’m now swapping when I receive from The Priest on the tongue, to the hand from EMHC. I really am having a hard time accepting EMHC, there are so many things to consider with this. Praying that the altar rails will be brought back, kneeling receiving on the tongue from Priest. How can we have so much reverence & awe when We spend time with Our Lord @ Benediction, but during Holy Communion at Mass , how do I show him the same reverence when he is being handed to me by a Guy in shorts & a sports top, this is messing with my head 😢🙏

Kneel. You’re not singling yourself out, you’re showing respect and doing the right thing. Honestly, if people are worrying about what you’re doing during mass instead of worshiping God and showing the utmost respect during the consecration, those folks got a lot more to worry about on judgement day. Kneel and if they ask you to leave, shame on that priest but it might be a sign from God to go to a better church, maybe look into if there is a traditional Catholic Church that does Latin Mass. I have never been to one but the stronger I am growing spiritually, the more I want to go to a traditional Latin Mass. But yea we need to treat the entire mass in a respectful manner, we are there before Our Eternal Father God and Jesus Christ and we need to show them the highest respect and love that we can.

Proof of this is Eucharistic ministers. If those people truly believed in Jesus’ presence, they wouldn’t DARE let their sinful unworthy hands touch our Lord. The only hands that should handle the Host is the Priest. Father Vince Lambert, another exorcist said: “the demons once told him that they are so happy to see those puppies receive the body of christ by their paws.”
It hurts God so much when we do that. That is just my thought, you can pray to the Sacred heart of Jesus and attend 1st Friday mass and do the 9 days novenna, you will have the answer of what you should do in this situation.
Also, technically, if you do everything right, you only need 1 communion to be a Saint. Father From Fatjma Center talked about this.

As an ex Protestant, I converted mainly because of the Eucharist, in a nutshell it’s either Jesus or Jesus was a nut and the Bible is not true. With that said, any honest Bible believing Protestant must convert. With that said, I would submit myself to the Traditionalist Catholic teaching if the Church rules that way. As of now, it doesn’t add up to the Bible. Jesus gave the first Eucharist with his own body and neither mass adds up to it. To say either mass is the only way is to say Jesus didn’t do it right and we need to teach him proper tradition. I don’t buy it. As someone that entered into a Church divided, I have no choice but to make my own choices about what is right. I do it as little as possible and only when forced.

Dear Fr thank you for this wonderful teaching. Quick question about 25:10 if so many priests don’t believe in the real presence of the Lord in the Eucharist how can the miracle of the Transubstantiation happen if there’s no faith? If I understand well, you explain that according to St Thomas A. it will happen only by the virtue of the words? The rubrics? The priest will force the Sacrament? 8:06 Even though the priest don’t even believe in the words he’s saying? 😧🤔 And at the end of the consecration the words we all say with the priest is “Mystery of Faith” if there’s no faith, I didn’t happen because of the lack of faith… I think. Does faith matter when it comes to the miracle of Transubstantiation? Yes… or no…?? Dear Fr I’m confused 😩 I will appreciate a response. Please, thank YOU 🙏🏻

The CHAPTER (1Cor. 11) that our church quotes about being in mortal sin hence been unworthy, does not speak about mortal sin it seems to talk about inequality among the gathering and treating the gathering like a 'lime'.
    1. vs 21 talks about some eating till they are drunk while others in the same gathering go hungry
vs 22 goes on to talk about that action as showing contempt for the church and humiliating those who do not have.
    2. vs 27 talks about eating the bread and cup unworthy and all the results of this. It does not look like a new thought because in
vs 33 Paul again talks about waiting for each other
vs 34 If you are hungry , eat at home so that when you come together, it will not be for your condemnation
Read the whole chapter not just vs 27-vs 32

To Ricardo Gonzales-Campbell:You are right 1 Cor 11 Paul was not talking about transubstantiation. He wasn't talking about people getting sick because they didn't believe that they were eating the real body and blood of Jesus. He was talking about the people treating each other badly. And by the time they celebrated the Lord's Supper they were too drunk and sick to even give thanks to the Lord for His saving blood sacrifice, they had no discernment for His sufferings and for His atonement saving us from our sins. The catholic church uses this chapter trying to prove that if we don't believe that we are literally eating His body and blood, then the Lord will punish us with great sufferings leading to death. When in fact the Corinthians suffered because they were evil toward each other and taking the Lord's sacrifice for granted. The Lord said to eat His Supper in remembrance of His sacrifice, but the Corinthians couldn't even remember His sacrifice because they were flat out drunk.

      @@bornagainsaint1 :
      You have misunderstood the scripture.
Being unworthy is the state of being in mortal sin.
St. Paul, and all those that he was writing and talking to, knew that this was the Body and Blood of Christ, even if they did not yet use the word "transubstantiation"
