Such a humble man. The way he started to get emotional when the great Sean Lock was mentioned made him look like such a simple man. Love him. One of the best in the world.

I sometimes think it's part of what makes them so good, they save it all for the character we see on screen. Johnny Vegas is another fine example, where the real Michael Pennington is so different to the Johnny we see on screen.

I cannot say how much I love Joe Wilkinson, no matter what he's doing. Be it the character he puts on for 8/10cats or himself, he's an absolute treasure.

Having watched back at episodes where he is making Sean laugh you can tell he meant what he said. When he is doing a bit he regularly looked to Sean’s direction to see if he is still laughing.

Joe Wilkinson is one persona who makes me tune in every time. His and Sean's parts on '8 Out Of 10 Cats does Countdown' made the show for me. I feel like Joe is my spirit animal and Sean was my soulmate. Anyways, shout-out to Joe's and David's new podcast 'Chatabix' - unscripted daily morning check-in calls between two friends.
It really is about nothing, but so funny!

I will always feel bad for Joe for the potato throw! He wasn't on the red green, and a lot of the previous and future people had worse cases but got off. He was robbed! Love the man though he's fucking hilarious!
...but because of that, it became THE iconic Taskmaster moment.... it was the best thing that could have happened in that scenario for both Joe and the show.
Except he was on the red green. It was only just but he was touching it, it's clear in the close-up. However, I do think Greg should have let him have it, just for making the excellent throw that others failed to do. Then again, as stated by T BZ, Joe not getting it after his emotional begging, is part of what makes it so iconic.

@@boskee He was wearing white trainers (not shoes) which were almost flat and it wasn't the 'curly' part that touched, it was slightly to the right of that.

You can notice a change in Russell’s tone of voice as soon as Sean Lock was mentioned. It’s quite heartbreaking.
I think one of the greatest things you can say about Joe is, if every comedian could only make one person laugh and it was Sean Lock, Joe ALWAYS laughed when Joe was on. He put him in absolute hysterics at times

James cordon has forgot who his real friends are since he has become more famous. Sean locks death devastated so many people and so many friends sean had posted on twitter and spoke about his death showing how much they cared.
