I have two....the sound of a bong bubbling(it's just a real soothing noise) and old school Lara croft saying "no". Ohhhhh my god, on behalf of fangirls I have to apologize. It used to be really taboo to write fanfiction about real people, it was the kind of thing that was in a locked forum if anything and often explicitly banned from sites, but now that fandom has gone mainstream it's impossible to hide any more. The kids these days!!!

I know right! I'm only 21 it wasn't that long ago the number 1 rule of fandom was don't mess with people's real lives. You can wright all the freaky stuff you like about, say, Loki but involving Tom Hiddleston the person is too far. Nowadays it seems like anyone in the public eye especially if they have a close working relationship with someone has fanfic about them.

@@violetskies14 Nah RPF's been around and accepted in fandom for at least 20 years (when I first discovered fan fiction was a thing). You just weren't supposed to bring it to the subjects' attention. For some reason gen-z decided to break the 4th wall when it came to fandom shit and we're mostly worse off for it 🙃🙃

I remember seeing a tweet by someone criticising all the fanfiction and saying how disgusting it was to imagine Greg and Alex together, but they've literally kissed on Taskmaster, and they're frequently holding hands at random moments. It's not like people are pulling the ship from thin air, they've added fueel to the fire themselves. Not to mention the whole sub/dom, humiliation kink thing present from season 1 makes their ship not completely unbelievable from episode 1.
Exactly, they set it up and then are too scared to admit a D/s element that they make it worse by saying it's just a 'father son' relationship, when they've kissed on the show!
