Pretty cool! Going to get the 1000 plus to get that extra peak capacity and add more batteries later as needed. This will be my first battery solution for appliances. Can't wait! Thanks!!

I stumbled across some of your early videos on this channel, seems like about 8 or so years ago, and have been watching ever since. I've been there for I believe every vehicle you've shown camping here, and I miss the dogs, Wheeler and sweet ole Daisy. And its cool to see when you and Meagan get to camp together in these cool spots Id never want to leave.
I really like what you're doing on the van camping channel, keep it up please. But I just want to say that from this viewer I'd hate to see this channel go away, this is where I came in and really like this style of your camping videos. I hope you can keep both channels going...Peace brother

Very helpful. I’m sure Jackery love’s watching your reviews, seriously, for good or not so good comments. My sister bought me a 300. Works great but when I get back out on the road will need something bigger.

I hadn't heard of Jackery until I saw it advertised on my TH-cam fishing channels. Me and my family love to fish and camp. I'd love to win one of them. A year or two ago we lost power for around 2 1/2 days. Needless to say, I didn't purchase insurance and I lost a lot of food. This would have been great to own. Thanks for the chance.

Thanks for your comments! Any chance the can be hooked together to provide a longer lasting source of power? If so, how can it be accomplished? Thanks a lot!

Did they ever do anything about the issues you brought up regarding the Bluetooth app functionality??

Jason, I bought my Jackery 1000 Explorer way back when you were giving Amazon discounts on them. I think I paid $799 for the unit. It still runs strong. powers my Iceco Fridge/freezer, runs my HAM radio, charges my phones, etc. my 2 x 100W panels charges it right up during the camping day.
I did however go a different route with a 2000wh battery from Anker to run my travel trailer, (the 767) because it used LiFePO chemistry, had a 30amp RV port, AND a Bluetooth app. It doesn't require a timeout or internet connection, so I bet Jackery figures that out pretty quickly.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Jackery 1000 Explorer! It sounds like a reliable power source for your outdoor activities. If you're looking for a versatile and powerful option, you might want to check out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It offers a massive capacity, fast recharging, and comprehensive protections. Plus, the smart app control allows for easy management. It could be a great addition to your outdoor gear collection. Happy camping and enjoy your family time!

He's the only review I've seen that even calls this out! The idea that you have to power the wireless/BT interface back up for it to connect to the app again is a deal breaker for me. Would love to know whether they can and if they can, intend to sort this out with a firmware update.

I've been wondering for last couple of years when Bluetti came out with the first expandable batteries. What's up with the ugly cables? All others came with same exact expandable batteries with cables. Jackery was the most recent.
    Why are they so dumb.
Thank God for Segway. They're the First to ditch the cable. Thank you Segway. 😊😊

I have a new Jackery 1500 with 2 200W solar panels - I live in Phoenix, and it is only 95 degrees to day, but the VERY BEST prformance we can get is only 130W per panel. The longer the panels are in the sun the more wattage power they lose. And this is not a faulty panel - when I had the same abysmal result on my first shipment I worked with Jackery and got a replacement unit. But this second unit is performing just like the first. NO ONE is testing these units in warm weather - which come on, is the whole point of using a solar panel, sunshine. It is clear to me, Jackery cannot perform to spec in temperatures as low as 95 degree which is low here in Phoenix. The whole reason I bought this unit was to have a backup if and when power grids fail in hot summer temperatures. But if these can't perform in hot weather, truly what is the point?

Looking forward to the next vid!
I'm with you on using the Jackery as back-up for your main system...my Kimbo came with an Ecoflow for house power.... But you know me with the One Wheel and camera stuff to charge along with running the Starlink the Ecoflow alone was not enough power, plus it wouldn't run the induction hob I like for cooking so, like you I'm using the Ecoflow as back-up for a couple of 206amph SOK batteries with a 2200 watt inverter. I ran the SOK's a bit too low one stint and they shut off so I plugged the shore power charger for the SOK's into the Ecoflow inverter and it woke up the SOK's just fine and charged the SOK's until the Ecofolw went dead with no issues.

You're the only review I've been able to find that even mentions the issue with the application timing out or not being able to connect without an internet connection. Any idea through your Jackery reps whether or not they can or intend to fix this with a firmware update? I would love to know this because I use it the same way you do and this app behavior is a deal breaker for me considering there are other options out there... Thanks for the honest review!

I decided to follow up with Jackery support today (given that these two features in my overlanding build would be a non-starter for me) and both over the phone and through email I got the same answer: That using the bluetooth interface connection between your phone and the Jackery would solve both issues. I haven't confirmed this but I did base my purchase on this information. I'll report back next week to confirm the new unit I purchased works as explained.
Here's Jackery tech support's response to these two issues:
      Hello,

The Bluetooth interface on the Jackery 1000 Plus does not typically go to sleep, so you shouldn't need to push any buttons to wake it up for reconnection to your phone. Once you've paired your phone with the device, it should maintain the connection, provided the Bluetooth settings on your phone are active.

Regarding the Jackery app, you are correct. Once the app is installed on your phone, it does not require an internet connection to connect to the 1000 Plus via Bluetooth. The app and the device communicate directly over Bluetooth, allowing you to access and control the unit's features without needing an internet connection.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help!

      Best regards,
      Team Jackery

can anyone with a 1000 plus help me answer this? i have the Jackery 1000 Plus and everything works as it should, except the display shows a power output of 0 watts when i have something plugged into the AC outlets that is pulling less than around 40 watts (a phone charger or mini fan, etc). as soon as i plug in an appliance that draws more than 40 watts (heater for example), then the display shows the correct output wattage. the appliances that draw less than 40 watts do work, and the Jackery does output the power, so i am wondering if this is a display malfunction or is the Jackery simply not designed to display AC outputs less than 40 watts? I've emailed Jackery and they don't have an answer other than 'we will replace it for you.' while this is good customer service, i don't want to box up and return if i'm going to get the exact same thing in return. any insight on this issue? perhaps the author of the video can test his and let me know? thank you!
