I have learned to crochet following youtube tutorials like this one. Its great fun, I would recommend doing that to anyone. Hospitals always want hats and socks for babies. My church supports a charity that helps young women with unplanned pregnancies by supplying anything that's needed.

This is wonderful! Definitely making things for charity is a perfect way to keep busy crocheting. ❤️ Thank you for taking the time to write this comment.

I am a beginner and I began today itself and this sock is my second creation! I didn’t know that crochet 🧶 would be that easy this is a sock 🧦 and I am a beginner who started crocheting today first thing in the morning... Thank you so much Jonna Martinez! Easily explained and simple steps.( It does take lots of time though, I took about 7 hours to make 1 sock😄) Thank you!

    So many comments, WOW!
I agree with so many that repeatedly thanked you for such an easy territorial. I have been crocheting blankets and scarfs and hats since I was pregnant with my first in 1997. The last couple of years, I started crocheting additions for my kitchen towels with a button attached to keep them from constantly falling onto the floor and puppy collars when we had 2 litters of 9 each in 2020.
I Just became a grandma for the first time on Feb 11th of this year and none of the newborn hats fit my grandson.
After making some hats, they wanted me to make matching booties and I found your video to learn.
Thank you so much and God bless

Thank you. I used Caron Simply Soft medium 4 yarn and my H8 5mm crochet hook. They turned out a little bigger, but I don't mind. My baby will fit them before I know it! The first sock took me 3 hours, as I had to redo the heel. The second one took about 2 hours. I'm a beginner and understood this very well.

Thanks for this tutorial. Now i know the basic points by heart and can make bigger or smaller socks by just changing amount of rows, amount of scrh and using bigger hook. I made 4 pairs for my 10 month old babe and now are making for my 5yo. Now it seems sooo easy, i love it

I have never touched yarn or anything like that but I’m currently trying this and it’s very confusing! Lol the tutorial really helps though 😅

Quick question! When you say 15 rows at the beginning, is that 15 more rows or including the first two? Or just including that first one into the back stitch? 💖

Gray, and warm colors like browns and beige even pumpkin and golds are wonderful colors for all babies! It’s fun to wait and find out when they get here. 💛 thank you for watching and commenting! I hope you enjoy making your new family member some cozy socks! And congratulations!
