I absolutely love how you use metal and therapy together.
I love you find a way to show a positive path with metal and it not just an escape for anger,but it can be a positive place for growth . When it is an escape for anger and a positive way to process the anger and possible pain that you are feeling, you’d know you are not alone. Metal is an expression and if your ear is tuned in to it you will hear the cry’s of the of the people asking for help. .

Dragonforce and Blind Guardian are so fun to listen to.
I don't usually listen at the end review for more info but I'm glad I did. I have been a power metal listener since im 13 yrs old, always felt a special connection to this music and never understood why. Every event in my life, heartbreaks, at work, losing friends, deaths I had 1 solutions. Pedal to the metal and move on, from my 16 to now (mid thirties), I have stopped for nothing and no one except close family. It all clicked. It's gonna be a lot of work because all I did for 20 years is going faster and faster but thank you for those words. I think i needed that.
Their live show are sooo much fun. During one of the intermissions, both guitar players, the bassist, and keyboardist(with key-tar) all hopped up on a big soap box and stood in a circle facing inward... and then proceeded to not only play their instrument in hand but also play the lower half of the instrument next to them. MIND BLOWN.
When I was at a live show in Manchester back in 2019, Marc and Sam were playing guitar together and they played the boss theme of Final Fantasy 7, it was incredible!
Some people can solve a Rubik's Cube, some people can "slayyyyyy"... I just can't stop laughing for some reason :'D

I have just been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, which I was told I need therapy before I can get a license I need to continue working my job to the fullest, but I can't afford therapy so I don't know what to do.
And you talking on this song helps me some, but it still hurts the issues I have.
Ok so now your adding another complications to a song that at first went along great for our d&d group. Being a veteran and ptsd.... recipient. Dragonforce is really an amazing band. Thanks

How sad that a cover surprises you more than the original song, there are 5-year-old children creating classic pieces and I don't see you talking about that, but you see a cover of and you go crazy, it makes you sad

The other is Winston Churchill "If you're going through hell, keep going!" ...
So sometimes I have to tell my self 'rip off the bandaid' knowing it will hurt to face, but facing the pain now will be easier than letting the pain or issue linger, or worse burying it to appear later/fester/worsten. Or if in trouble, don't stop amidst the trouble, but push forward and then slow once on the other side of danger.

I saw these guys in a smallish venue in Minneapolis after this album came out. I was second row, in front of the amp stacks. The show slapped so hard, and when I got back to my car to rock out some more, my speakers seemed messed up, like someone blew em out. Nope, I just messed up my hearing for the next three days 😂
I now rock earplugs for every show 🎉
Fun fact: that ping you hear at the end is a string breaking on Li’s guitar

I got to see these guys live a few years ago and they were just as amazing! I got to meet Marc who is the lead singer now, if you want to listen to more I highly recommend listening to Fury of the Storm live and Heroes of our time, I genuinely love watching people react to DragonForce for the first time😊

Love that you are loving DF. I’ve been listening to them a little short of 20 years. One note tho: before reacting to songs please make sure you react to the full version. This song is legendary but this is a cut version. And to me it feels like a castrated version, I mean it’s the same song at the end of the day but it misses an important part. Cheers tho!
I saw Dragonforce in concert a few weeks ago, best show I've ever seen! They are easily 10 times more impressive live!
yeah, they were in Finland early this year... they played this song in about 5 and a half minutes and I still don't know how, that was pretty sick. They were warming up for Amaranthe and I think these guys had crowd going with them more than the headliner of that show!

Not just one but TWO of the fastest-fingered guitarists in the world, and they each take breaks during the song to let the other shine (then they work together).
The singer takes breaks during the song because this number is instrument-heavy (as are a lot of their songs).
The Keyboardist does not take a break throughout the song, always has something going on.
THE DRUMMER, though...talk about having your work load cut out for you! This is the SHORT version of the song! Imagine being the drummer for a solid 7+ minutes on THIS SONG ALONE, along with the rest of the concert... Dude is a MACHINE.

I suggest that you take a look at Nightwish and specifically the song “The last ride of the day”.
All of their lyrics are deep and meaningful but this one is perfect for your theme.

This is such an excelsior song. My running down a trail song. After hiking for 16 miles. Its a total f yeah get to the car song. In red rock Nevada, there was intermissions of waterfalls as I found them.
Recently they introduced pathways, janky. As a kid and young adult I ran willy nilly everywhere. Found a really cool pool of water you could cliff dive into. Depth you'd keep you from cracking your dome.
The short version of this song is always funny to listen to.
I have always suspected that this song was written to be three times longer, but the producer told them to cut it or it wouldn't fit on the album. Instead of cutting it they said screw it and instead sped up to blistering levels. I have no evidence of this, but will always assume it to be true.
The Video version is a full two minutes shorter than the album version

i have a history of concussions; im at risk to develop CTE; i have already had CTE Symptoms; behavioral changes, mood swings, memory loss, muscle weakness, headaches, permanent nerve damage. im still alive and able to live my best life but i have to accept that my history of concussions effects every day of my life, its challenging but i once survived being dead for 2 minutes in 2012, so me being alive again is the greatest blessing; thanks for your videos and keep fighting.

This song is the soundtrack of a hard fought victory. The belief that there is happiness at the end, and we need to face the evils of the day to reach that happiness.
when I was younger, I felt a lot of neg. feelings.. like depression. after being bullied in school for example. but I always had one thing keeping me going.. "what if the next day will be better? what if everything changes tomorrow?" so I lived to see what next morning would bring.. and I'm still here. that little hope, possibility, of a better life made me keep going.. later found out I have/had persistent depressive disorder. it can be hard but I have tools now to cope with it.. :)
Definitely check out “Three hammers” by DragonForce. It’s a very triumphant song, about overcoming adversity. Plus, it’s a really good song

Check out Tina S. She is an... exceptional guitarist. I would suggest watching her TH-cam video of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. She was 17 at the time.

You should do Alice in Chains Live at the Moore. Probably one of the greatest live singing performances of all time! And he puts so much soul into it it makes you feel it.

Would love to see you react to "Eyes Of A Stranger" by Queensryche... 1). it deals with issues of mental illness 2). it's a straight-up VOCAL CLINIC, and 3). the whole track is an absolute fuckin BANGER.
So,
1.) Lead guitarist Herman Li had to get a custom made guitar so that he could more easily reach the highest frets on his guitar.
2.) A couple other songs I think you should check out are Heroes of Our Time and the band's cover of My Heart Will Go On (yes, you read that right)

hey there, go for power metal inventors helloween, lots of great guitar solos fun and great singing as well. Dragonforce is a lot of speed. Helloween is a similarly crazy good experience. Go for Keeper of the seven keys live pumpkins united. You get all members the band ever had that are still alive. GReat performance and a 1980s classic that still stands the test of time! That waas the beginning of what dragonforce did later if you like. OF course also many others.

I think my score was like 621K on this in guitar hero on expert. I remember 567K was the 5 star cut off. I had friends on runescape who were in the 760K or 770K range. I got over 600 once I stopped wasting star power on the solo, and I think for the 760 or 770 he learned to FC the red snake with star power.
You should really react to Herman Li VS The Dooo. It's wholesome, funny, impressive and absolutely nuts to say the least
