Dragonforce are from the UK... the band is essentially the 2 guitarists - Herman Li and Sam Totman... the singer in this concert was Marc Hudson, who replaced original singer Z.P. Theart (who sang the studio version of 'Through the fire and the flames' in 2005) Dragonforce benefitted from the popular video game 'Guitar Hero' and that pushed the sales of their 3rd album 'Inhuman rampage' past gold in the US (half million copies) w/ the album's 2nd single 'Operation Ground & Pound'... The band championed the power metal genre which has past fantasy and futuristic lyrics w/ high, melodic vocals and melodic lead guitars & double bass drumming ... Other bands from the genre include - Helloween ... Gamma Ray ... Stratovarius ... Primal Fear ... Rhapsody of Fire ... etc. Their 4th album 'Ultra beatdown' had a video game theme w/ the single 'Heroes of our time'... There were apparently problems w/ original singer Z.P. Theart and the decision was made to fire him in 2010... The 'Guitar Hero' game was discontinued and that affected Dragonforce's popularity. In 2012, Dragonforce announced a new album 'The Power within' and a new lead singer Marc Hudson... Their subsequent albums were not as popular but Dragonforce persisted recording and touring... Keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov left the band in 2017 after recording their 7th album 'Reaching into infinity'... Dragonforce would play live w/ their keyboard parts pre-recorded without a live keyboard player. I like Marc more than ZP Theart actually! The band as a whole was a LOT worse back then as well, always drunk on stage and couldn’t really play their own songs! They’ve sounded really good ever since Marc joined as far as I know! Saw them live in 2017:)
@@billyboostah6308though I know about their past shenanigans with their live performances and how they didn't really do that great, I still prefer ZP Theart's voice over Marc. To me, Marc sounds too whiny whereas ZP sounds like a proper '70s '80s metal belting voice. Though I will say props to Marc for carrying on the legacy

Hi Nikki, DragonForce are my happy music. I cannot help but smile with their insanely fast, melodic music, and fantasy driven lyrics. Here is a quick list off the top of my head. There is nothing wrong with the 5 minute version...and it is the "official" version on their own youtube. But yes... the full song is 7 minutes long. One of the great things about the 5 minute video is the focus at one point in the song ... the focus on the 2 guitar solo's or I guess it's a guitar duo! It really showcases the shredding capabilities of both guitarists... so much so that most people usually overlook the insane keyboardist and drummer.
I will still have to check that one out then, even just on my own. 😊 I can understand that though cause until the end I almost overlooked the drummer and didn't even notice a keyboard player until a recommendation for the next video. 🫣

Please get back to Lovebites, the all-female power metal band from Japan. They toured with Dragonforce several years ago and are currently on a world tour. They have a new bassist and released a bunch of music this past year. Listen to their song The Hammer of Wrath from the Knockin at Heaven's Gate tour.

I believe it is, sadly to say. I know what you mean but it seems to be part of the live performance of that song. I've seen so many of their concerts live streamed during the last tour and it was pretty much standard to have the crowd making noise during the solo. I want to assume they're all fine with it or else he wouldn't do it.
There's nothing worse than the lead singer doing a crowd chant during the guitar solos. If I were a paying customer in that audience, I would've been so pissed off. Did he ruin the guitar solos of every song during that concert?

From a video perspective, I would just say that the curtains behind you are very similar to your skin tone and shirt (a little). It isn't bad but it is kinda odd. Also, saw this song live on this tour. Epic. Keep it up.

I recommend their song Three Hammers live! It has everything, solos, fast riffs, good melody, tempo changes! Really underated song imo!
