Sfundo was an orphan from a poor township. He lost his parents when he was only 5 years old and even though the odds were not in his favour he was determined to stay on the right track. In high school he was given a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet with the principal at Star College. Through the Outreach Programme, he was given a full bursary to study at Star College
