Hi Anne, I have an idea for a political parody that would rival Al Yankovich. Would you be interested in taking a shot at the Russian leader? Not the people, just him.
your married,, now I know,, I don't mess around with married women,,you should know,, right from wrong,, singing like this makes me to /NOT/ want to mess around with you ! so sorry I'm going to have to stop watching you ! listening maybe too? I only want a pure angle that's not been had,, that I've never had either,,😧
I turned 70 YO yesterday. I've heard the Glenn Milller all my life. Never knew there were words. Thanks, Anne. You mad an old man very happy with this version.
54 years ago, surrounded by friends and family, my grandparents, after 30 years of marriage, danced to an old vinyl recording of this song. It actually came out a month after my Mother was born. It was their favorite. I was 8 years old at the time and I will never forget the look of love in their eyes as they gazed at each other as if they were dancing at their wedding reception. There were not enough tissues to wipe away all the tears in that room and now you've brought them back.
How awesome! This was a hit when my now 96 year old WW2 veteran father was in his teens. I love big band music and you made a classy hit of a classic! Thanks!!!
Choosing this is eerily timely for me. My dad died last Monday from complications of Covid and Glenn Miller was his favorite musician, so I’ve been listening to the albums. I chose “In The Mood” for my weekly #TrikeTuneTip over on Twitter, but I almost picked this one. You did a similar thing when my friend Danielle died a few years ago. So I guess I’m saying thanks for channeling the universe’s messages to me, spooky as it may be.
This was a wonderful rendition of the classic Glenn Miller song. It sounded like you and your clones were channeling the Lennon Sisters. You hit another home run Anne. Well Done!
This cover is based on the SSAA arrangement by Julie Gaulke: th-cam.com/channels/SIcK1xZbr5znrPfX7reuVQ.html It was chosen by my Patron Derrick. Thanks for your support, Derrick, and thanks to all my Patrons! I couldn't do it without you ❤️
Watched this a couple of times, with and without headphones. Am I correct that the image 2nd from the right (or 3rd from the left) is the one singing lead? And the one on the far right is singing "bass" on this arrangement? I also liked that your tempo was just a little faster than Julie's, more like the Miller tempo. Good job!
I'm in heaven, two of my favourites in one slick sophisticated package Glen Miller and Anne.Absolutely superb.Whoever thought of this combo Glenn and Anne is a genius
It's the real masterpiece. So gentle, precise and thoughtful and truly beautiful. The way you using your voice is incredible skillful and smart. It a kind of magic.
Holy cow! A wonderful rendition of this amazing classic. I think you're on to something. Bring back the classics and introduce a whole new generation to the great American songbook. I'm going to buy you a coffee. My dad loved this song and it reminds me of him.
Oh this was so beautifully sung. I know I didn't grow up in the big band era but I did grow up with this song. Glen Miller would be proud of your cover of this timeless classic.
Good afternoon, Anne. I really enjoyed this job. I'm a trombonist, here in Brazil. I'm a big band fan. This song is a classic from the past. Excellent choice. Congratulations 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😀😀😀
This song, heck, this style of music, just fits your voice SOOO well. I think it goes really well with your arrangement style, too. Awesome job! Selfishly hoping you do more from this genre, I think it's my favorite!
Just perfect! Congratulations Anne! When you give us a perfect music interpretation and we think that anything could go better you offer us with this theme. We adore you!
Fantastic ... YET! How, in the world, do you keep all those personalities distinguished???? I'm totally boggled ... I watch your video several times just to distinguish your various musical personalities .... TOTAL AWESOME!
@Anne Reburn - Glenn Miller would be very proud of your beautifully harmonized cover of this song! You've managed to take Julie's arrangement and make it sound just like the tight sax section of the original Miller sound. Excellent job!
What a terrific cover Anne! I'm 23 but I've thought this to be one of the most romantic pieces to dance to. I had no idea there were words! Thank you for your work.
You know we are all in love with you, and not in the creepy way, but in admiration with your talent you have, and grateful for the joy you have brought us.
As a teen in the 70s I had heard his music in movies and on radio that my elders listened to. I was into rock, pop, and r&b for the most part back then but the GM band played on the boardwalk in Avalon NJ and being there for live I had a new view for Glenn’s music. This tune in particular is my favorite of all followed by Blue Danube.
Great singing! Great arrangement! I also like the way that dress interacts with the light. It goes from bright green to deep black with a small change in angle.
Great job Anne on your classy rendition of this Great American Songbook classic. Keep up the good work and please consider performing more of these Big Band classics.
Thank you for combining a song I played horn to in band and blending it with barbershop I did years later. Great job on all the vids I've watched of you. Please keep it up.
Oh wow, what a fitting song! Great stuff, thank you Anna! You've just smoothed my day. (It would be fun to see the singing heads with separated torsos under them with instruments :D )
I must've heard this tune hundreds of times when I was a teenager. (Dad's car had a no-frills AM radio that he kept tuned to the oldies station in town, and there wasn't much else to listen to on the AM dial...) And I found it slow, boring, repetitive and I never liked it -- until now. It turns out that all it needed was a freshening by Anne Reburn. Once again, Anne works her magic, and the tune is still completely period-appropriate, but with awesome, tight, close harmonies to keep it interesting and light, unobtrusive accompaniment to fill in the gaps. And, ok, I admit it, the big smiles in the video provide further enhancement. Awesome performance, as always!
First of all, you look very lovely in this video. Second, I absolutely adore this song. Love Glenn Miller. Love Frank Sinatra. This was the first song that I slow danced to. Brought back good memories. Keep up the good work!
Wow! Simply beautiful arrangement! One of moms favorite songs. She would have loved your rendition, Anne. Thanks for sharing your gift. Great video production as well!
I love the way you started this in full acapella. I'm impressed with this Julie Gaulke arrangement and it was a great choice for patreon, Derrick. My only suggestions are to bring it down in key maybe by 2 half-steps, and perhaps roll off just a bit more high end and a bit less low end. But overall I love your take on this timeless classic and admire you for giving this one a try. Well done!
I just love how you and your clones harmonize, if you you could film this in black and white in a outside garden I'm sure many people would mistake it for an old classic movie clip with a famous singer/actress.
Why is it when Anne starts to sing I'm so distracted? The world is on fire and Anne starts to sing and i just don't care because i just want to listen to Anne. Btw Job well done Miss Anne 😅👍
I made this, on many of your videos well thank you so much your voice reminds me of my girlfriend who passed away listening to you sing makes me happy thank you
I feel you are made to entertain your viewers with this kind of music that are truly classic and you are keeping them alive for generations to come just like your You Got It cover by Roy Orbison. Truly love that. More power to you young lady. God bless 🙏🙏🙌😊🌷

I'm encouraged to see one so young embrace real music!
I turned 70 YO yesterday. I've heard the Glenn Milller all my life. Never knew there were words. Thanks, Anne. You mad an old man very happy with this version.
IIRC, there's a snippet of it in the James Stewart "Glenn Miller Story" film.
@@No1sonukI was going to say the same thing but see you beat me to it.
If I recall it was done in burlesque style and Glenn was not happy about that.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful memory. Such love will endure for time immemorial. Far beyond the circles of this world.
Glen Miller deserves greater respect in history and so does Anne Reburn. Beautiful harmonies. I love Anne's 40's and fifties covers the best.
How awesome! This was a hit when my now 96 year old WW2 veteran father was in his teens. I love big band music and you made a classy hit of a classic! Thanks!!!

I've never heard an angel sing, but I'm willing to bet this is as close as it can get

That's once again amazing ...

Pleasantly surprised to find this one in her collection. Big GM fan and she's wonderful too.
THE ONE ANNE BAND HAS PERFORMED ANOTHER AWESOME SONG!!!!!!❤
"one Anne Band" I love it - chefs-kiss!
Hey, I think she's the N-Anne BaNd ....
It's the real masterpiece.
So gentle, precise and thoughtful and truly beautiful. The way you using your voice is incredible skillful and smart.

There's just something about music from the crooner and big band era that will always be reminiscent. As always an absolutely beautiful cover!
OMG what a beautiful rendition of a wonderful song! Brings back so much memories.
Glenn Miller...a true classic. Thanks.
WOW! Close harmony. The clones fly in formation and soar to new heights. BTW, you rock the "Princess Fiona" dress.
ok, I've seen this again after a while ... and YOU ARE EXTREMELY TALENTED! (PERIOD!) This is extremely impressive work of audio tracking and delivery.
What a beautiful voice you have Anne . I love the work you've done and look forward to hearing the next song you perform.
Great harmony …enjoy the oldies. Thanks
Lovely. Of all the songs he wrote, that is the best
Fantastic ... YET! How, in the world, do you keep all those personalities distinguished???? I'm totally boggled ... I watch your video several times just to distinguish your various musical personalities .... TOTAL AWESOME!
second and third sisters are simply beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
@Anne Reburn - Glenn Miller would be very proud of your beautifully harmonized cover of this song! You've managed to take Julie's arrangement and make it sound just like the tight sax section of the original Miller sound. Excellent job!
Once again.....gorgeous classy and talented.
Close harmony works even better when you’re singing with your clones. Love it! ❤
Just love how the clones have their own personalities
What a terrific cover Anne! I'm 23 but I've thought this to be one of the most romantic pieces to dance to. I had no idea there were words! Thank you for your work.
OMG, that was absolutely beautiful, Anne! Bravo! bravo! bravo!
Super!!!!!! Thanks!!!! Old songs are great! I made Anne sing it about 20 times...
You know we are all in love with you, and not in the creepy way, but in admiration with your talent you have, and grateful for the joy you have brought us.
Well done and proof the American songbook is vast and covers the subject of love in so many different ways.
Best cover ever. Thank you for the awesome song.

Never heard this song before, but 'Wow!'.
Одно из прекраснейших произведений и замечательное исполнение🌷😎
Great singing! Great arrangement! I also like the way that dress interacts with the light. It goes from bright green to deep black with a small change in angle.

I've got Glen Miller's autographed picture hanging right next to this computer. I love his music and I love your rendition. Wonderful dance music.
I didn't think this song had words to it.
Absolut stunning. I just saw the first picture on TH-cam and knew I had to take a look! Beautiful and talented as ever

That was simply beautiful.

So beautiful! Eight geniuses personality components able to travel and update paradigms.

As I mentioned before the second one from the left is the prettiest.
Thank you for this rendition Anne. It's beautiful.
I love the old standards. I grew up on big band music and going to big band dances.

Great choice of repertoire. Reminds me of the song that brought you to my attention, Mr. Sandman.
I just love how you and your clones harmonize, if you you could film this in black and white in a outside garden I'm sure many people would mistake it for an old classic movie clip with a famous singer/actress.
Great job. Would love to see you do some Christmas covers. Some of the vocally crazy polyphonic Christmas hymns would be amazing.
И песня любимая), и исполнительница)!
Прекрасное сочетание!!!)
Слушаю и смотрю)появляется очень светлое доброе настроение)!
Wow! What a performance
Why is it when Anne starts to sing I'm so distracted? The world is on fire and Anne starts to sing and i just don't care because i just want to listen to Anne. Btw Job well done Miss Anne 😅👍
