The Evo GTA is still a fast car for an auto, I’ve raced a 2017 WRX STI both tuned and stock and I’ve beaten them, if you have to compare a car that’s competitive in a race with the GTA, it would be a Ford Focus RS, they are neck to neck but the RS has the top end and will only beat the Evo by a bumper, so in saying that I can’t imagine what a tuned GTA would run
(still fast for an auto).... weird. auto shifts faster than a manual so the word "still" is abit confusing lol. i bet out of 100 shifts the auto shifts better than your 100 shifts in a manual. no room for error in the auto sorry. way more consistent.
It's the gear ratios that make old autos slower, and they didn't shift very fast at all. Modern autos are better than manuals in every way tho.@@Gnarly_Harley
I've done some research and it's around 290-360hp, apparently the Evo 7 rods aren't as strong as the Evo 8, but the vehicle in the video is a auto an that will limit the torque the engine can out out before you begin destroying the box, alot of people are saying 220hp-270hp with the auto
The way he says HKS is the correct way to pronounce it, I used to work at a performance workshop 3 years ago that had a lot of HKS parts come through and I've never heard anyone pronounce HKS any diffrent from the video
That battery was relocated in such a clean way I like it.
That HKS Vcam is basically what the mivec is today! That Vcam system is very rare
