Right on Joe. Good to see you around.. You'd remember me from Vineland racing the SC4x4 lime green with the skull on the hood. I built a crawler course in my yard. I'd like to get a comp happening someday.I've been meeting more guys around here that are into crawling. I'd like to send you some pics of my ax10 scorpion and my scaler a wheely king convert. over at scale freaks.
That was XTremely interesting! lol seriously though...it was fun watching that since I have never been to one of these events. Glad to see lots of women out there representing! =D Thanks for sharing it. =)
Cool video man :) I like the comp coverage! Only thing I would really like to see are interviews with the drivers on how they have their trucks set up and what was their last upgrade for example!
My big bro and me do our "Slow Races" with my SFXL and his E-REVO we are both running sensored rigs so going creep speed is no issue for us until the ESC just says nope and go termal. I wonder why usually 1/10th rock crawlers do this kind of thing? I swear we have done harder things on my Savage flux xl and an E-REVO with open diffs than the final course with those Axials... The only places I cant go is the hardcore rock crawling where open diffs just wont get you nowhere but as far as suspension flex? I really don't have an issue with either rolling or getting stuck because of diffs, the gigantic ground clearance makes up for a lot of stuff and the hardest thing to do is to corner something tight. I know they aren't designed for that but I wonder how capable a locked diff Savage flux XL would do in these kinds of tests.
looks fun that but bit to easy if i say so myself there really wasn't anything to difficult that would really test out a rigs true performance but either way looks good
I don't think this event it should have been timed I think you should have got points on style points and how you made it through the course rock crawling is an art form I personally do not like watching people just go full throttle through a track it takes all the fun away to me but to each his own
I mostly agree. I can tell you that the course was a challenge and powering through became more about luck than strategy. It was VERY easy to roll over and you get zero points
Thanks alot for all the tips and for letting us hang out with you all.
who ever built the sled cheers to you thats so cool and i really respect everyone running the work and time you guys put in to the rigs priceless
karl schweizer It just gets better every year
Great video Guys and some nice looking trucks love it

Antoine A-A Good point. That's something I would have liked to do as well. Maybe for the next one.

A revo or savage flux ain't a real 10th and well it's not scale at all tbh
Johan Eriksson So its all for scale sake?
+skirmich yes. A bigger say 1:8 scale would do much better on som of the obstacles.
At the next event you should get dj medic to bring the judge
matt Young Well, the event was a 2-hour drive from my house. MEDiC is a 32-hour drive from my house.
Oh I didn't know just an idea
I would have used neon green paint so you can see the track better
I want one these truck

F-Bomb won a G6 but couldn't complete this event.
cool
Sooo how are the portal axles working?
Renne Strubberg I want to run them a little more before I make a solid comment on them.
nice!!!
awsome
where can u get one of these
+Scotty Bryson One of what?
+Joe Ferguson (Scale Freak) one of these scales
Scotty Bryson google it
a traxxas trx4 would beat all of those obstacles
Owen Shimel This video is a couple years old. The Traxxas wasn't even an idea at this point.
