RC ADVENTURES - TTC 2015 - TUG of WAR - Tough Truck Challenge (Event 2)

- Click to Subscribe! ► bit.ly/JOovvU - The TUG of WAR is one of my favourite events, and I bet it will be one of yours too! This is the 2nd of 5 events at the 2015 TTC here at the RCSparks Studio. We did our best to pair these rigs evenly. I explained the rules in the first event video (bit.ly/1M6QdQb) that this event is loose in Specs, and multiple styles of 1/10th scale trail rigs can compete (as long as they are a ladder style chassis). Jem (my wife), and I have invited 15 of of friends to come and take part in this unique and exciting Radio Control Hobby event. We hope this film will virtually transport you to our RC Ranch and get you right in the action!
This is an elimination style of event, where the Toughest Truck does win! There are 3 Rounds of elimination.
I am using 3/4" jake chain, wrapped around the differential pumpkin and pulling from the bottom rear of the housing.
The first truck to have its rear tires cross the line loses, and the winner advances. There are surely going to be some upsets!
Thank you to my camera crew and to the volunteers who helped make this event possible. It really is fantastic to see so many people having an amazing time with the hobby of radio control!

I have been watching your videos for a while, I mainly fly rc planes but a few weeks ago I took the kids and wife out and got some rc monster trucks, we have had so much family time and fun with them thanks for the inspiration.

I had a feeling the Gelande would be quite competitive. It seems like he's got a fair amount of weight on board + he's running Flashpoints which are very grippy tires. A little weight coupled with good tires and 3s power = awesome!
