It has always blown me away that the ET5 orders and deliveries have not exploded. I love the design and performance of the ET5. If NIO was in the US the ET5 would be my preference. Now MrP, NIO needs a gap EV between present time and the deliveries of the ONVO. If the deliveries of the ET5 keep exploding then NIO should lower the out the door price in perks and benefits. I know that NIO will not lower prices but make the ET5 the only option for those looking in the sporty EV range. Let NIO know that.👊🏽

MR.P. The biggest thing for the ET5 demand IMO is the ICE trade in , straight up of the A4, C class, & 3 series competition. This is awesome & I fully expect a 300%+ May deliveries increase YoY. The thing that NIO really needs now is sustained higher deliveries of 20k+ a month steady going into Q4 & then The L60 starts deliveries. Then, by year end we could be at 220k deliveries range & hopefully by years end reflect around 37% increase from '23 deliveries..Not too shabby in my book, this is my baseline number and from what I can tell we can most likely exceed this.. The swapping partnerships has reinvigorated NIO'S status in China as swapping is starting to become mainstream.. This is a huge x factor as well.. Just wish NIO wasn't manipulated so damn much..

@@mingzmings88 Mingz, 7 swapping partnerships combined are if converted eventually to swappable pack EV's.. Makes Swapping the norm over charging, like it not, this sets the standard in a market that is 60% of the world's EV'S deliveries. Now if you haven't yet figured this out?? This would put massive pressure on remaining competitors to switch or get left behind.. A big factor is the yearly battery health check after 3 or 5 years from new, in China.. Every fricken fixed pack owner would be sweating bullets bro.. Anyone with a swappable battery pack wouldn't give a crap. This is simple concept I believe that you can figure out?? What would the resale value be of a fixed pack or structural battery pack EV after 7-8 years?? Opposed to a swappable compatible EV that can get a far newer & healthier pack installed in 3 minutes?? Lol..Who's the one sleeping on this?? Lol
The important thing is to KEEP sales above 20k-monthly... If we only achieve it in May and June, it will be of no use... You have to stay above it ALL months of the year.

They should do a limited time special edition et5 . They can add a special color for it maybe even a wrap and larger rims or lower the car .. jus a few things to appeal to young people who would also normally spec out and customize their car

Good news to hear ET5 demand picking up. But I am somewhat puzzled with reason behind that. If I am not mistaken, SU7 is priced around USD30k, whereas ET5 is priced above USD40k. There is huge gap in price range.

30k deliveries. Sounds great but if margins are terrible then not so great. Still unsure on margins and obviously margins matter.
Gotta think beyond margins...NIO has BAAS that will be the real recurring revenue stream

I totally agree with Li's decision to make the Nio houses strictly for Nio owners. Its a deserved cherry on top for buying the top premium brand. They should convert one of the floors into an exclusive night club for party goers. They can call it The Executive. Each Nio owner is allowed 1 guest.
