No, it doesn’t. “5” is a radio altimeter callout for GPWS, It’s normal on some landings. When the aircraft announces “5” it doesn’t mean it’s smooth, the way to tell it is smooth is how fast it said, if it is said fast, then your decent rate is high, therefore less time to flare, equaling a harder landing, same thing goes with a smooth landing, if it is said slow, rate of decent is slower, therefore you have a sufficient rate of decent to preform a proper flare, equaling to a softer landing.

Have a brother who was a 'bus' driver (320/321) they moved him from 37's--there was quite a bit of stuff on the bus he liked over the 37's believe it or not!
It always makes me wonder how a right handed pilot has to adapt to using the left hand on the joystick when he gets upgraded to captain in the left seat. I think I would prefer the Boeing yoke over the side stick.
People always say that landings are bad jus5 because they are hard when I bet money that if they got in the flight deck and tried to land they would total the plane
“FLARE” will only be annunciated on the FMA in an ILS approach with FDs on, APPR selected and LOC+GS modes active. In this instance, it was not an ILS approach and both FDs were turned off hence no “LAND” and “FLARE” modes.

Is this a right crosswind landing? Can you please explain why the left rudder is forward?
Not gonna lie A321 is almost like A330 but smaller and they both have the 5ft sound while landing.

Why there isnt a annunciator with "FLARE" written in a white frame coming on the top of the PFD ?
It comes right after 50ft RA...
