    Thank you for sharing your nasturtium video with us. I have grown nasturtium a few times but I was unable to get them to produce flowers. I followed instructions to not water too much because nasturtiums are drought tolerant. I gave them full sun and partial shade but still no blooms. I planted them in not so fertile soil as directed because they can thrive in any type soil. I was directed not to fertilize them because they didn't need nutrients like that! I'm taking the steps from your video and incorporating them into trying to grow nasturtiums again this season. 😊. Extremely grateful for your channel. Have an amazing day!💕

      Sorry to hear that. Looks like you did everything correctly, not sure what went wrong. It it true that they don’t need fertilizer, but often that means nitrogen rich fertilizers which help grow foliage and not flowers. Sometimes a boost of phosphorous (bone meal) helps with the blooming. I also suggest to try new varieties. Hope you will have a better result this time. Happy growing and thank you so much for sharing!

    Love the black tote with lid idea to keep potting mix tidy and dry instead of open bags of unused growing media getting wet from rain and infested with garden roaches. Do you have a weblink to buy the black tote?

    Thank you for your excellent channel. Just a quick question, after you collect the seeds do you remove the whole plant and start the process all over again the following year or does the plant produce flowers again the second year? Cheers from Australia

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There may be few varieties that are perennial, but nasturtiums are considered annuals meaning you have to start every year. I grow them as annuals too. So glad you enjoy the channel. Thank you so much for watching from Australia and for your comment. Cheers😊👋

      Not sure I understand your question, but I am in California and share almost same weather as yours in TX. So you should be able to grow same vegetables and flowers in my videos if you choose the right growing climate for each. Does anyone know if you grow nasturtium in shallow soil?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It depends on how shallow the soil is. I have grown nasturtium in shallow containers of about 6" (15cm), so if the soil can provide 6" of good growing bed, i think it is possible. Just give it a try, sometime you get surprised how plant grow against the norms and thrive. Happy growing and thanks for getting in touch!
