Like another commenter, I’ve used this method and have very little success rate in germinating nasturtiums - and perhaps I should add that I don’t seem to have a problem germinating any other flower/vegetable seeds, so was hoping to learn something new. I’ve tried soaking, scarifying, soaking AND scarifying, but again with little success. So, I was hoping to learn something about why my germination rates are so poor with these seeds, but this video made it sound like they’re easy to germinate, which has not been my experience.
I planted 5 seeds this year that were at least 2 years old and 4 germinated. Maybe the ones you got were too old or got picked when not mature, or other reasons. I direct sowed after last frost and always kept moist.
My favorite is Fox Farms soils. That’s the brand I used when I started growing my own marijuana and now I use it for all of my gardening, indoor and outdoor! Good luck ❤
I soaked my nasturium seeds overnight and planted in cells... out of 30 cells, 1 sprouted and the others rotted and molded :( Next time I'll not be soaking them...
I started receiving emails from you and thought I will check them out. But oh my goodness your prices are crazy high and I will never pay 6.59 for 25 or 50 seeds. Geez what a rip off!!!
It was very helpful thank you.
it was great . Thanks
This was so helpful, thank you so much!
Thank you for the video, What about nasturtium in hanging baskets?

Why are there no flowers on my plants? The leaves are beautiful and thriving ...but no blossoms??
My seeds germinated but now they are growing leggy. What should you do if that happens.
More sun is needed
My nasturtiums don't bloom. Long strong trailing vines, no flowers : (
Too much nitrogen fertilizer. Soil should be average poor.
Why won't mine flower
