- Today I'm talking about mindset. This topic was something I've wanted to talk about since starting my youtube channel, and I thought ending my 31 day video challenge on this video felt right.
This video kinda turned into a rant, I hope you still enjoy listening me. It's a topic that's really personal and I've thought about this one alot.
If you enjoyed this video, make sure to like so I can make more videos like this! ✌🏻
Thank you so much for watching! 🙌🏻❤
This video is the final part (31/31) of my Video Everyday - Challenge for March 2023.
I planned, recorded, edited and published this video from scratch in 24 hours!

Would love more of this holistic content! Congrats on 1k subs by the way!
Love content i heard in your video's you mention your discord community, is there a link someone where? I am looking for a good community to join for my first character in osrs (ironman).
This is great life advice in general 😂 just disguised as rs advice
There's life outside of runescape? I must investigate
Absolutely great advice, for in-game and life.
For me, in the land of Gielinor, I’ve learned to stick to things that I enjoy. I’ve found that to be a recipe for success.
I've definitely tried out stuff that I didn't enjoy at first, like Corrupted Gauntlet was one of those for me 😅
Playing to enjoy and pushing yourself to get better if you enjoy that aspect!
Thanks for the comment 🙌🏻
Great advice Zepa! Earned a subscriber
Thank you for the comment 🙌🏻❤️
Love the positive energy and perspective provided in this video man
This is actually a very good mindset guide in general. Well done Zepa, and thanks for this!
I appreciate the kind words 🙌🏻❤️
This was actually my first video talking about a topic like this 😅✌🏻
I think you've figured out a great niche in the OSRS streaming community. The web is flooded with 'Skilling Guides' and rehash after rehash of GP-making schemes that everyone has heard about endlessly. But your videos hit the spot for guys who just want to discuss the game itself and its lore yearnfully, almost philosophically, while driving into work or sipping coffee.
I hope you stay away from the click-baity OSRS content with which TH-cam is currently bloated and continue with this format.
I could see myself making this sort of videos more in the future! 😁
Thanks for the comment! 🙌🏻❤️
Cool video, keep it up
Thanks 🙌🏻❤
(btw I'm a huge fan of ur videos)
I've done fight caves many times but I'd like to see you do a vid on that just out of curiosity..
Eric Bugenhagen has entered the chat
Bugenhagen is one of my absolute favorite people when it comes to mindset 😁✌🏻

I think for me one of the hardest things to learn is you don't need a max cape / best in slot / billions of gp or whatever to enjoy the game.. Trying to find a reason for myself to level up skills and what not... I feel like focusing on what you want out of the game is more important then focusing on a max cape .. or best in slot.. Although trying to motivate myself to grind out elite diaries is still proving very difficult.. for me elite diaries will be my completion cape.. my end goal.. I will max one day .. in 20 years or something .. I'll get an inferno ... some day... I have been enjoying the game alot more since I've just been trying to focus on what I enjoy, and not burning myself out trying to achieve things that are meaningless to me.. or things that are a nice to have but aren't really worth it.. Mind set definitely changes the game and the way the game hits..
I went looking for some video to try and give me some insight on why I am even doing this, and while I think this advice is great for a lot of the later game real challenges, an enormous amount of OSRS is not skillfull or difficult grinding, even Fight caves are honestly a 60 minute waiting simulator for Jad mostly. The game has absolutely staggeringly massive content gaps especially around the mid levels because the content itself is not challenging or otherwise complex and it will stay that way for a LONG time in this game. I didn't find that honestly any of the content in OSRS was even remotely challenging or interesting until 80+ in every combat to run things like raids, or some of the more interesting slayer bosses again at levels 85+.
The game struggles I think because so much of the community is so entrenched they often forget that since the grind in question is so mindless and skill less on the way to the later game, it's genuinely not an issue of mindset it is an issue of content. I don't think people have a problem with it being a long journey, but with the fact that most of it is just not what most people would consider actual content.
I do feel that the early game is like this, but on the stage of my account (early lategame/lategame) I think most if not all my gear progression grinds are just hard content that I have to learn.
I honestly miss those mindless grinds that give me gear upgrades 😂
Thanks for the comment!
