I don't even play mk anymore, but as a former havik main this just made me angry. They are doing it on purpose. Like there is no way you are that ignorant. Likely just catering to the pros. Non of them play havik. All of them just wana play the same 3 characters in every tournament. That's an nrs game in a nutshell.
Im enjoying Mk1 but id kinda like to See Erron Black as a Kameo like think about it they could give him the Drop kick from mk11(F+Circle) his TNT Acid Bear Trap and maybe even his rifle stance it could work like Sento stance but differently

Man, it really feels like these changes round out her options and the pressure for her gameplan. Her style is interesting, but it was like it didn't quite do what it needed to and these changes actually might be the fix.
My main is johnny cage, and i'm happy of that nerf ,because everytime i win against someone they said that i win bcz i play johnny ,now the situation is different, 😂😂when i win they will had nothing to say 💀

Johnny cage is favorite mortal kombat character of all time I heard he was the best and used him as my main and now he’s been nerfed 😩😩😩
As an amateur J.C main, his nerfs are pretty annoying. I can understand the parry one (which I only accidentally manage to pull off anyways) but the shadow kick was NOT necessary at all. The nerf literally ruined my best 30% combo I made (and was proud of myself for making it).

As a dieheart Kitana main I'm more than grateful for this update even if it doesn't change THAT much i dont really care as long as she doesn't get unfairly nerfed like the last game

They made Johnny's defense so much worse. Literally Johnny's Shadow Kick was the way to Punish spam. I dont care he has "the best offense" in the game. Cant use that offense when folks are zoning you out. The Show Off parry I dont care about but when i saw "Shadow Kick" in the patch notes i was like.........dude. But lets not touch Khameleon at all. Guess im going back to SubZero Kameo

You can get a full screen projectile just use one of the projectile moves add enhancer with block button

I think Johnny's parries were the only way to have an advantage if the opponent blocks everything perfectly. Now it would just be tougher to open up opponents ig

Haven’t played MK 1 a lot since I got back home, literally last night, but Peacemaker still sounds fine. You can’t just go autopilot on him, now you have to play the character and I think it’s just fine. Personally I wished Reiko would’ve got a buff to his dash special, maybe improve his 3,4 or 4,3 strings to feel better, or just parry better but I’m glad he didn’t get nerfed.
They nerfed peacemaker into the ground LOL 😆

As a havik main I dropped the game altogether. Nrs got serious issues with balancing. I keep comming to these vids to see the "buffs" hoping he makes it to mid tier. What a joke. I'll never play another nrs game. Back to tekken.

I do think I better way they could buff Havik and make him honestly completely broken is to have his teather ability to not be broken like at all it doesn't matter how fast your move is he will catch you he should also have like two hits armour when he does it that would make him amazing which is well deserved because before this he just kept getting nerfed W Havik!

I'm a Johnny main, the parry nerfs made a lot of sense but I really hate that his shadow kick got nerfed, even if it was already unsafe on block I loved how fast he was, even though it's just an extra thirtieth of a second i wish something else got nerfed like his combat time meter
They should nerf his mid next

Em excuse me why tf is GEARS getting a buff i am a god rank player and playing against a Gears is such a pain in the a$$.Broken 50 50tis with his command grabs, combo breaker and health regeneration for 1 bar and 45-48% for 1 bar with kung lau cameo and he isnt that hard to play
I don’t know why NRS is so scared to give Scorpion anything of substance. You can’t even make an argument that minor adjustments could accidentally catapult him to S tier, like Li Mei. His toolkit is so far below par, he has no game plan outside of throw and chip, and only 4 kameos in the whole game give him real options. At least Havik gets plus frames and pokes. At least Nitara gets insane mobility and above average damage. Scorpion is still bottom 1.
i play peacemaker a lot, i'm not too upset, bc even tho yes i main him, he needed these nerfs bc sometimes i felt bad for people, the johny cage nerf much needed too, but i don't play johnny anymore so ya know
As a Johnny Cage main I can say nothing really changed, as me personally don't use the parry too much.
One thing I can say is on wall combo finisher after charged back 2 you can no longer go for 4 + shadowkick as it is too slow now, but yeah... maybe 10dmg difference?
Sub zero is still trash, when are they gonna buff his damage scaling, I’m sick of having to do 4 to 5 full combos per round (31hits + 3bars + 3cameos for 45% is horsesht)
I'm still waiting on them to buff Cameo moves that are hardly ever used..

As a Li Mei main I'm really happy about the fact that NRS didn't forget her. But the buffs are kinda mid. It should have been like that form the beginning. It's nice to finally have a string that doesn't have a gap. And I still don't know when you possibly have time to shoot the lantern. The set up takes way to long to be viable (unless there is a set up I don't know).
The overhead buff is great tho. I really like that one!

I’m loving this double XP weekend I’ve been playing only a few hours this morning and already getting dragon Krystal’s sucks I missed the earth realm outfits but won’t be making that mistake again I’m saving up my dragon Krystal’s for now not too much of a fan of sindels outfit in the shop I main mileena but not really digging the colors she’s got and I’ve already got the outfit subzero I can’t afford right now since I got reptiles and scorpions first
If there is anything to bitch about with this last balance update MKTomBrady will find it. From what I've seen, it's all great!!
Glad they're nerfing peacemaker into the ground. Johnny changes aren't gonna do anything. Stagger pressure is still way too good. Fan lift should codt entire kameo bar. That move is still way too good.
These games became for professionals only. Who has time to remember all this shit to play a fighting game. Frames, every move set of every character combos are ridiculous to put together with the button timing and practicing you have to do. It's crazy.
People complain about Johnny cage and it’s all the people that didn’t play mk since beginning, Johnny was never good in the firts 10 games at all until mk11 came up his got good but he didn’t have an overhead and now the Johnny on mk1 beings the best people hate it, have a piece of mind and please research the the mk history of game firts before getting mad of Johnny.
My favorite character would be scorpion but my cpu is outdated so I can't play it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In my opinion Serena needs some sort of rework. I absolutely hate the fact that her projectiles linger even if she's hit or you punish someone for using them. This shuts down punishes because in the middle of a combo her projectile can come back and give the person you were just beating up the opportunity to combo you instead. She also has a lot in her kit that rarely ever sees play because people just randomly throw out her projectile. Yes you can duck it but the amount of chip damage she can also do is insane. She's the most used cameo for a reason offering even more utility than janet.
What do you think about the current trend of using scorpion and Jax? It is just like when everybody used raiden with Cyrax? I think they need to nerf Jax Kameo to avoid doing that

I get trying to balance characters, but honestly how do you use pm competitive? All his “get in” tools have been nerf to oblivion, reversal is useless, and the once dubbed anti zoner character is powerless against all zoners now which in itself is ironic haha

It’s actually not a great idea for lei mei unless it’s gonna be a lot worse on block … like -40 type of worse because anything that’s instant air is immediately strong, not only is it instant air but you can delay it to stagger it, and she already can do big damage. Have to be a trade off for that
