first time I ever heard and listened to the lyrics. Great re-interpretation of a classic! Then there's the musicianship.....Wow
It's a bit of a shock when we all know the MJ original so well but once you get over that this guy has a good singing voice without taking himself too seriously.
Brother on a Uke bass? that's what I'm talking about!
ya thats pure inovation of an instrument..just great
The Bass solo is instant thumbs up
awesome inspiration for the acoustic world
Awesome doesn't even come close to describing this performance! Love it :)
what a groove!
I think the U-Bass is gonna be my next bass
I am blown away.
awesome musicians!
Great Job Dudes! Jammin' Good!!!
So funky, so simple
that is amazing
superb!
Cool!!! Never heard like it this before and never cut out a bass solo...LOL!!!
Amazing
Singer's style reminds me of the dude from Cake lol Cool stuff.
faaaaaaaaabulous!
Camera man, why deviate from the bass solo? What's up with that? Not cool! :(
That was Good!
If anyone is interested, I have a new Bass Ukulele Method book available for purchase! Here is the link: payhip.com/b/4I8q
hells ya...Nice little jam
That's because of the Heisenbergian uncertainty principle. That might sound strange but it doesn't apply only in quantum mechanics but everytime something oscillates.
When you play short notes in a low frequency you simply can't intonate that great. It's not about skill it's about math and physics.
wow
I didn't know Kyle Hevacheck could play ukulele... so well!
nice
Congrats. Is that a tenor or a baritone uke, please?
how blue and swollen did your finger get after this?
ya munnnn
Is it a Blundstone commercial?
Laid back
is this the only song he can play? i've seen 1000000 + videos of him playing this song.
I know. I think I must have been surfing youtube under the influence when I wrote that. What gibberish!
lol the poor mans loop station
He's playing a fretless, so the intonation is all him. But with only a 21" scale it's naturally less forgiving when it comes to intonation. Personally he doesn't sound off to me, but my ear isn't perfect.
My fretted ubass's intonation is spot on (according to my tuner) all the way up to the hole.
Anyone here ever build a bass soprano? 🤔
Sounds like Soul Coughing meets Michael Jackson to me.
It's alot fatter sound than regular electric basses and less sustain which gives it more of the upright bass thump sound.
Very inventive. way better than the original......
That white boy's got rhythm...
sounds like a good band named Cake. I hate M Jackson songs, but in this version, it is OK !!!
Eaby: $362 for a fretted spruce.
It sounds like cake did this cover.. which us not a bad thing lol
too bad he doesn't actually sing the beginning
He isn't even playing?
+Eric Blair loop station
+Eric Blair loop station
Eric Blair yep. He's playing that all at once, excluding the bass line.
Whitest thing I've seen all week.
Why do you have to bring race into this?
LoL very good playing but it's no billie jean. The voice's totally wrong...
never let that guy sing again. come on bro we all know you can play the uke well, just hire a REAL singer
why say shit like that?
