Turning to the right makes your heading number go up. For example if you are heading southeast at 120° and turn to the right to 135° your heading number goes up (+). It helps me to think of where the wind is “pushing” from because you know you have to counter that by turning toward the wind to stay on course.
Draw wind at destination, you making this a bit harder than it should be. Your heading line is not logical. No one of moving from this drawn method to drawing on the computer.
Excellent video! They don't teach this method anymore and it makes it hard to answer wind triangle questions on the written. Thanks for the help!
The best explanation of the wind triangle yet!
Great video and explanation. I'm currently studying for my cross country flight and this helped immensely!
Ez to understand and apply. Thank you sharing this method!
Love it simple example shows best. Was bit baffled by GS over100
cause i got 91kt but then read the description.
Thank you.
This really helps! Thanks!
Correct ground speed is: 91 kts.
Got it all until the GS. Where on the plotter is the 103kt figure? How did you come up with that?
It's all at scale and it's also a velocity triangle. You can also use the sine law to find those values.
Maestro! ✈️
Helpful video. Tnx a lot.
GOOD JOB .
The reason you got the wrong GS is because you used the statute mile scale to draw the wind line, but the nautical mile scale to draw the TAS line.
I'm confused by the 103 ground speed. Could you elaborate?
I don't know how you got the + for the wca on the e6b it is either right or left of course how did you determine that?

good job continue .
The distance covered with a ground speed of 98 KT in a time of 0+45 is CAN YOU DO IT PLZ

Speak up and write a little larger please. Good job, thank you.
