Your humility is great man. Ive been doing DIY stuff forever, not all protects come out perfect, no matter who or what you are. I like the dedication to get things right by doing things over again. Your place looks great.
Thank you so much, so glad you like it! I did make it yeah, the video is called “Building a 100 year old design (DIY Coffee Table)” Here’s a link to the video: th-cam.com/video/FybshUk5PkM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=S1PgvoEKQOMNqq_M
How come you didn’t do limewash on the walls with that special brush for the walls? I feel like you would of gotten that plaster look you are looking for. Can’t wait I see what you guys do with this space as a final result! 💕
We were very curious to try this glazing technique, and lime wash would also cost a lot more. Since we’re experimenting a lot right now, we’re trying to spend as little money as possible on supplies/material 😊 Thank you so much for watching and asking questions, we really appreciate it! 💞
Oh, that’s a good question! In total with all the mistakes, it took a few days (a lot of pondering and testing) but once we started fresh with the beige “base color” it took a few hours to do the “glazing”/pattern, 5h~ if I’m not mistaken. I hope that answered your question 😄 let me know if I didn’t answered it right! Thanks for watching!
We just used regular acrylic paint here, be aware though that it wears off easily. So if you want more of a durable, permanent solution. I’d use something else!
