The sad thing about this person down here commenting & a couple of others is that they question my Christian Faith & Music that Milions love the style of. …and music is A Moral. I to have certain opinions about the way that some Christians choose to present their Faith, but I am TOO BUSY SERVING GOD to bother writing notes on their You Tube pages, questioning what they do. Anyone who knows me, know that I am a solid follower of Jesus. Skulls are not evil, they are what holds our brain in our heads. My skull is redeemed & my soul is saved eternally. Hey Steve! Your music is an encouragement to me, to go for the full gospel amidst the lukewarm "Christians"! The early albums with the pure lyrics, "with Jesus you get heaven, without you get hell!"-style preaching! Also the history of Mort is awesome! :) Do y ou guys sell big backpatches of the self-titled album? (for example)
RoweProdVISION I agree with you Steve, I had the same discussion many times with other christians and some said that music with drums is from satan (I don't even comment on this!) and that to give the Gospel to people in metal, we should go outside a concert arena or a club and preach to the people coming out of it instead mingle with unbelievers and promote satanic music (as in rock or metal etc). Weird that Jesus himself was accused by the pharisees to eat with the sinners, but as I recall Jesus never said to stay out of the sinners' home and preach the Gospel when they came out! So it sounds to me that Jesus was in person with others and not only preaching the Gospel to other believers! We are called to preach the Gospel but that doesn't mean we all must become preacher in white dresses, I think perhaps some pharisees are still among us telling us to eat with them instead with tax collectors and sinners, but I rather try all my life to be a Christ imitator instead highly regarded by others to be holy in their eyes! May Jesus bless you every day Steve as He blessed us through your talent!
I could be wrong, but I think it takes more courage to be a Christian headbanger than to be a traditional Christian. Congratulations Steve, for your courage, for not stopping playing metal and especially for not being ashamed or denying the Name of Christ. People warm too us, I think, because we endeavour to be real. We do not preach to people unless we play at a Christian event or at a Christian Music Festival. PLEASE do not stand outside clubs or festivals & preach AT people. Be a part of a Festival or club show as a fan or a band & show you are different by the way you live, act & converse with REAL people who are simple Pre Saved who love Metal just like you do! In 1991 we performed at a 4 Band Aussie Metal Fest in Sydney. Armoured Angel, Sadistik Exekution, Frozen Doberman & Mortification. We played last & a roadie from the venue asked our Roadie, "What is different about this Band? With the others I just wanted to leave, the energy coming from stage was so negative. But this Band has something very different, like a peaceful energy and yet they are so heavy". Our Roadie told this guy that we are all Born Again Christians. The Venue Roadie said "Yep, that is it. I need to check out what that is that they have".

I was fortunate enough to try out for "Cybergrind", Michael Carlisle's band after Mortification many years ago, but couldn't join as I wasn't a christian, but convinced Michael and the drummer if we could jam....Scrolls of the megaloth...was a great experience, they are great guys too

Antestor é uma excelente banda de Unblack metal, conceituada até no secular, a maioria aí fala da palavra sem mascarar nada, Jesus Cristo puro e verdadeiro.

This is crazy, i remember how i got all the Mortification CD's from my "christian scoult" leader or how ever it's called. And we kinda grew up (in switzerland) with Mortification, Horde, Crimson Moonlight, Crimson Thorn and so on. And you heard the stories about steve and the rumours and every now and then there was a guy who had some metal magazin with new information and stories. and if you where reeeeally lucky you knew someone who had a credit card and could order a Shirt for you somewhere. my god we even sang "Impulsation" at a playback contest in our little town and shocked all the parents there xD and today you can go on the internet and yourube and everything that was so hard when i was young is just here and you know that on the other side of the world your child idol is just like you sitting infront of his pc and might even read this :-D thanks for hours and hours of music i listened over the years. cheers from switzerland
So I watched this thru after downloading it so I could watch it in when I had time in bits and here n there etc I am an old school morty fan and overlooked all there new stuff based on few songs I had heard and did not think much of thise songs in particular. Glad I looked back at those albums I missed for the most part most of them are actually pretty good some real strong riffs going on for sure. So I am glad I watched this and seeing Steve fall over is very sad to watch. I am not a christian but if there is a God I hope he rewards greatly Steve you deserve it.
A very nice production. I'm a Mortification fan from when I was a teenager and my first song was New Awakening. From that moment, I was hooked to Mortification's music and this DVD, in my opinion, is simply great and have very nice songs. You don't need to be a Christian or even Religious by any means to enjoy this music, I am firmly anti religious because I just don't believe in any of it. Music can give people messages and it can also be designed that way, it works the other with around with certain satanic bands, but in the end its all music.
I freaking love these guys they are an outstanding death metal band and just an amazing Christian Death Metal band I love them and hope they make another album because Realm Of The Skelataur was phenomenal

You don't need to be a Christian or even Religious by any means to enjoy this music, I am firmly anti religious because I just don't believe in any of it. Music can give people messages and it can also be designed that way, it works the other with around with certain satanic bands, but in the end its all music.
