    😅😁You are very brave. Despite all warnings from the medias not to take ‘risk’ coming to China , you did it.Chinese is one of the six official languages of the United Nations and the most widely spoken language in the world. China's territory is the third largest in the world, so there is no problem for Chinese people never to go abroad, because China has all the topography in the world. The North and the South also have completely different cultures and foods. Chinese is indeed difficult, but if it is just for daily conversation and communication, you can quickly improve your communication skills with Chinese people in one month by studying in Beijing. I hope you can study happily. have fun!

    Your attitude towards new places and culture is the reason I keep watching you guys. There’s good and bad days when travelling long term but you guys just always seem to roll with it. Ppl sometimes complain about how different or “weird” things or make these “shocking China!” vids but you guys never do that. You treat everyone with the same kindness and respect. ❤

    I admire you guys so much ! I am actually thinking of learning Mandarin next year, so this was inspirational. Pro tip: After a lesson, take a nap. There’s some neuroscience to this, but basically a nap was found to give the brain time to process and commit to muscle memory what it has learnt. And yeah, the brain is a muscle. Same is done in yoga, when at the end of the class you go into savasana , where you give the body and mind time to rest and consolidate the learning in the body.

    • @LTLChinese
      @LTLChinese 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great tip by the way.
      FUN FACT || we have a big couch at the school (you might see it pop up in some of their videos). We had to rename this the nap-sofa because students just sleep there more than studying, chatting or browsing on phones!
      Welcome to join us in Beijing next year 💪

    Молодец! I think you guys will cope, nothing is easy, study hard, and play hard, enjoy the journey 😊 A piece of advice, try using Chinese as much as possible, force yourself, even between 2 of you, and you will make better progress.

    I’m sure your teacher said this already, Chinese sentence structure is so straightforward, it’s great. I have been learning 中文 for the last 6 months and I am really enjoying it. It is such an amazing language. I really envy you guys moving to China. I would love to live there.

      Nice! How are you getting on after 6 months? Glad to hear someone say straightforward and Chinese in the same sentence. It's a huge myth Chinese is the hardest language to learn, in our honest opinion.

      @ I am slowly improving, I live in Canada so not much opportunity to use it in daily life unfortunately. I plan to take a mandarin class in the new year. I want to visit China one day and if possible, not sure if it is, teach English in China.
      English is the hardest language to learn I believe. There are so many exceptions to rules that English learners have to learn.

    Really a new experience! Wish you everything goes well in Beijing, your new home for the next year.
    You have been to Uzbekstan? Suggest you visit Xinjiang on your holidays, as the region is much alike with Uzbekstan, even their languages are much alike.

    I studied Mandarin HSk 1 and 2 last year August and finished April this year. I can say I can converse with Chinese already when we visited Zhangjiajie Hunan this October. And it’s fascinating to unlock this long time bucket list to study Hànyǔ ❤ 我非常感谢我的老师
