I'm glad Mara Wilson is doing well for herself. I always wondered why she never had more roles after Matilda, but after hearing everything that she went through, mostly her mom’s death and being sexualized at a young age, I don't blame her for becoming a writer.
Agreed, Mara penned a really articulate piece for Cracked, on how Child Stars are typically set up to fail. I'm so glad that she's keeping well, and thriving in her career.
Mara also penned an essay on Britney in 2021.

I am rooting for Amanda Bines. She was such a great comedic actor. She’s all that was actually pretty entertaining thanks to her, I think it could’ve really been a flop but she was great. It sucks what money and fame can so easily do to young people.
So sad to hear about Jake Lloyd too. To hear that so many people around him verbally abused him when he was so little over a role in a f’ing movie and where his life headed, it’s just devastating. Hope he finds his peace too.

Great list! Where was Elijah Wood?
I loved Thora Birch in "The Hole". It was filmed in England, I think, so most people might not know it. If you can find it, it's definitely worth a watch. Also has Desmond Harrington and Keira Knightly.
The Good Son was awesome! I never expected either boys to go so dark and serious.

Technically she is a 2000's star not a 90's star, but she has continued acting. She was in Zombieland 1 & 2, a remake of Dirty Dancing that I loved, Scream Queens by writer/director Ryan Murphy who also did American Horror Story & Glee and a bunch of other stuff.
She was born in 1996, so she hardly lived through the 90s
Christina Ricci was good too in Oposite of Sex, Buffalo 66 and Sleepy Hollow😊. Still don't get why "fans" tormented Jake Lloyd he was a kid they ruined his life 😮
