This video has convinced me. I've watched all kinds of videos of many different analyzers and this one (though pricey) is the one I'm going to get. Thanks for a very informative video.
Fabulous
I do like the look of the Comet CAA-500 I do like the colour screen
Great looking Comet CAA-500
Good review….I will be buying this unit
My Favorite Analyzer 🥰👍
That is good analyzer. I like the cross needle meter. This would be a major step up from a Nano VNA. The “Sweep” feature is great to see. In also see the unit will overlay 3-4 sweeps to see any adjustments made during tune up.
Nano VNA does all this and MUCH more, for a third of the price. Unless you just want analog meter movements.
@@violetnorton7165 While I agree with you, and my days of paying 400 bucks for an analyzer are over. I do think it is an elegant analyzer for what most hams want. I love the cross needles. I would really like to have one, but the NanoVNA and a really old MFJ259 do everything I need to get done. Nano, as you know is overkill for simply measuring SWR most of the time. Sometimes the Nano is a little small, but versions like the H4 have alleviated that issue somewhat. Also, going from PL or N to SMA is a clumsy proposition for 14 MHz. compared to the convenience of just screwing the antenna in.
The Nano VNA it too small to see. And as for the price, this one was free. I see your angle but the Nano is not for me.
awesome unit i must ourchase one does it cover 6 meters
Collection one. Great job, I have it.
Comet CAA-500
What kind of HF antenna was that? Didn't look resonant anywhere.
A dummy load
