- ***READ FULL DESCRIPTION TO AVOID ANY DAMAGES AND ENJOY*** I unbox the Flydigi Apex 4 here. Watch in greater than or equal to x1.25 speed if too slow for you. Or roll up a doobie and enjoy at normal speed. Learn with me as I go through an honest unboxing review. I find lots of obstacles and learn quickly to work through them as this is a new controller. There is a bit of a learning curve. When you first start the controller, it is in Chinese. Look up how to switch to English. There are tutorials online all over to show you. It is not hard, a few button clicks. Overall, I am impressed by the controller's responsiveness. I show you how to download the pc software to customize the controller. The paddles on the back could be bigger for sure. I think I will have to get used to them as they are a bit hard to get to at first coming from an elite series 2. I use 4 paddles. ****MAKE SURE TO DETACH AND ATTACH THE JOYSTICKS/DPAD WITH CARE. THEY ATTACH 1 WAY. DETACHMENT IS SIMPLE. SIMPLY PULL UP ON THE 3 PIECES. THEY MAY TAKE SOME FORCE BUT THEY WILL COME OFF. LOOK CLOSELY AND CAREFULLY AS YOU ATTACH THESE SMALL PIECES BACK ON TO CONTROLLER. AS I SAID, THEY ATTACH 1 WAY AND YOU CAN SEE HOW THEY ATTACH. THIS IS TO AVOID ANY BROKEN HARDWARE LIKE PEOPLE ONLINE I HAVE READ ABOUT. My controller seems to work great. I got it from AliExpress for cheap. Good quality. Everybody in the comments. Email oversea_customer@flydigi.com “ADD TRUE DIAGONALS LIKE MICROSOFT ELITE SERIES 2 CONTROLLERS.” This improvement to the controller will immensely increase your in-game accuracy!
With the trigger lock mode you can’t take it below 20 you used to be able to take it to 1-200 before the update.

@@antz9945 the hall sticks are nice. They snap back nice. The elite series 2 had good accuracy with the true diagonals settings. This controller has a lil worse accuracy it feels like. However, the elite 2 costed 3 times more and it broke in 3-6 months. So I take this one for those reasons.
@@orlandomagicwins yeah I feel you, I also had 2 elites my self, both absolutely gone, I do however have an Astro c40 tr controller which I find they’re really solid as you can replace the whole stick modules it self by ordering online, however only has 2 paddles and I need at least 3 🫠, so I’ve decided to go with this company they seem promising and the price tag is great, I ordered the Vader 4 pro
Is the true diagonal settings thing something that was able to be applied within the elite 2 software or is it something we experienced naturally that it came with the elite 2, never of it until recently from others saying how it’s really good
@@antz9945i think I made a video on the elite 2 settings. True diagonals is in the software. Its the best setting to turn on.
Ok so originally on the app and when you get the controller the factory “default” response curve isn’t your typical linear response, it’s actually a custom response curve preset. Up until a recent update; so you have to re-select the “default” response curve in the app to fix the curve for each of your sticks! (and you already did it unknowingly in this video on your left stick, but I believe your right stick still has the old “factory default” response curve. (Actually Custom)
So that would of definitely been messing with your aim in the rest of this video
