Im also foreign worker ,word at taiwan fishing vessel. and we experienced some of the problem like what they said in this video. Specially in lack of food, medical assistant and long period work. And the salary that we received is too low. Hope the governtment of taiwan would give some action for this.

The video calls for urgent reform, demanding stronger regulations and enforcement to protect both the workers and marine life.

Makes me angry and sad....these chinese owned (mainland or taiwan) illegal fishing fleets are no better than the Somali pirates. I feel that these governments need to do their job better to eliminate and hold these companies responsible. I used to support Taiwan in its stand against China, but what's the difference if they behave the same in this industry. There's no excuse or justifiable reason they should treat these workers in such a horrid manner. Chinese are showing how clearly they want profit over human rights. For the US it's oil, for China it's control over the oceans. Human species won't survive much longer.

Please mention 'China' instead of 'mainland' as mainland refers to nothing in particular. Also, Taiwan is not owned by 'Chinese' but by 'Formosans' or 'Taiwanese'

@Mr. HeavyDebater No, it's actually not. RPC never owned china and ROC didn't get it officially from UN. Check the facts.

What a fake documentary that gun shot footage wasn't even Taiwan fishing boat. Fits your narrative.
