I agree. No, there's a reason most of the world restricts high fructose corn syrup. In fact the studies show that it causes heart disease and obesity. No, humans weren't meant to consume lots of fruits year round. Fructose causes a ton of inflammation. It's a fact we learned in the 1930-40's only for the food industry to use the same tactics as they have with nitrates, round up, GMOs , PFAS, climate change, narcotics and tobacco. 😑

I have worked twice for Milk and More within the last 4 to 5 years. You may not know because Milk and More still use their website livery and logo. But what you may not know is another company called Freshways now control the business and group and supply the milk. 4 or 5 years ago I worked delivering Milk and More produce to Winchester. So 5 years ago I was told that we'd be going down to a 5 day week. Around the country businesses' are moving to a 4 day week if the Employee wants it. So long as they do their hours all cool with Employee and Employer.
Now second stint of working for Milk and More 4 or 5 years later Freshways have taken over the business. Twice now what they have done is reduce the amount of rounds. So they call up the Agency supplying the drivers and say we need two less. Then they share the workload between the existing Rounds people. This has happened twice. I was on a salary. Each time Milk and More / Freshways do this they add to the volume of deliveries and time taken to distribute the produce. It was supposed to be a 6 day delivery. 8 hours. 6 Nights. What has actually happened is that they have reduced the Roundsmen and increased their workload. They still profit from their sales but get it delivered for free.
I've jacked the job on principle. I'll lose about a month of lost pay while I find another job.
Defund Milk and More / Freshways. Cancel your account. You need to know how they treat their staff.

Good investigative journalism. Got to love it! A lot was spent on this video to bring the facts to the public. This hasn't happened, for the most part, since the 1970s when investigative journalism was considered a "loss leader" by the networks, but has since been converted into a profit-making machine where ratings determine the survival of a show or series. Today, profit is the motive for survival--truth should it exists--is merely a carrot to make a lie seem real. BRAVO to the producers of this documentary!

    • @hiatusinc
      @hiatusinc 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

MSG doesn’t cause health problems. This is a common misconception. MSG is naturally occurring flavour (umami) found in a lot of foods like tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, fish, etc. that is why those foods are yummy! MSG was isolated from natural foods by a Japanese chemist Kikunae Ikeda in 1908 who wanted to know why seaweed was so tasty and used in soup bases. Hence why it is used in a lot of Asian cooking to this day. However MSG was demonized by western media and erroneously attributed to cause people to feel unwell after eating Chinese food. The truth is that Chinese food is very salty and when you have a meal high in salt you will feel thirsty, maybe headachey and tired. This is not the fault of MSG which you can easily extract from natural foods.

I became vegetarian right before Covid and then learned about veganism. My reason for changing had nothing to do with cancer but it’s a nice benefit. I don’t miss anything.
My only regret is not changing sooner. 🙏

I became Carnivore before covid, and cut out all processed food, and wish I would have known about it sooner too.

Don't we know this? I learned this in 1985 from my chemistry professor at McMaster University: Nitrite + amino acid + heat = cancer.

Also phosphate in the food. Amino acids are a supplement= vita amines (ammonia) bacteria and fungi turn acid into sugar.... you don't want to know what some enzymes are. The snake on the staff has more meaing than people know. One man's poision is another man's medicine.

Great work to debunk the most corrupted people on earth. It will definitely cure my cravings for processed meat. I knew they were bad but not the extend that it shown in this documentary.

I wonder if anyone in this commission is competent to accuse them of poisoning the population or are they all corrupt😢😢😢

They're all corrupt it's a conspiracy to poison the population especially the poor, using food / water additives....

I don’t buy processed foods much at all. Try and buy foods that have not been near a factory and has had as little human interference as possible.

My hubby has been eating this stuff for years...he developed colon cancer and it has spread now throughout his body. He also ate Vienna Sausage, Bologna and other garbage. I hope he does not suffer too much during his end of life...

Nitrosamines are in thousands of food products from processed meat, processed fish, beer. It's never going away. Either choose nitrate free foods or eat less of processed foods.

Great video. I presume that as of December 2023, there is now definitive scientific evidence of the link between consuming sodium nitrites and getting colorectal cancer.

I knew there was a reason why I was vegetarian for so many years particularly when I travelled to Europe and the USA - intuition vindicated. And when I returned to the southern hemisphere I sampled imported & local cured meats always with the same result, discomfort & stomach upset signalling the need to omit them from my diet and so I never consume manufactured meats because I don't know or trust what is in them. This has been a brilliant video - I do enjoy the manner in which the voice over host skewers the targets - well deserved. None looked particularly healthy by the end of the film - they looked quite 'well done' as in overcooked.

Phillips Morris perfect motto - doubt is our product 🥸🫣🙄
This documentary was published 7 years ago. So are there some better changes in the American or European meat industry? 😅🤔😏
At that time, during this investigation, Vytenis Andriukaitis was my country’s Minister of health, later European commissioner 😳🫣
This guy had to take the responsibility for other clerks decisions.
Today when I am at a mall/shop for me it is difficult to find healthy products. Almost everything is ultra-processed 🫣😕
Luckily my mother grows vegetables and hens by own natural way and trees of apple, pears and cherries grows in the garden. However, it is not enough to eat very healthy.
While in my childhood I was eating really healthier. My family was growing own pigs, cows, hens and doing home cooking. And I remember that I was sick very rarely.
So nutrition is the main reason why plenty of people are diagnosed with cancer 😔
