Thank you so much for the shout out and review Noor, It was a pleasure and honor to tune your Gauntlet. I see many many hours of shooting fun in your future my friend!
Mine next please sir! I can promise you I will be the first to harvest a black bear in north Carolina state history if we can get this all done before the end of December!
Looks great man! I subbed Hajimoto yesterday. I got my Gauntlet .25 last week and I love it! Going to check out those mods. Btw, I did stop the video and read about the mods! Lol The bolt polish and the trigger look amazing! My stock bolt is a bear to pull!
I am kinda surprised at the results from a Haji mod 18.13 @830fps. Were you off the regulator? I think Shooter 1721 did a video on this mod and he was a touch over 900FPS but I could be mistaken. Hajimoto does fabulous work. I did my own and shoot mine in the 940 FPS range with 15.89 Hades. The guns are really hard to beat for the money and what you get. They are super easy to modify and upgrade. Thanks to Hajimoto and his videos, I was able to make mine the way I wanted when the warranty repair department dropped the ball. Glad your enjoying a really reliable and accurate gun. Thanks for the video.
Good morning! Hajimoto told me I could turn it up higher on the tune setting if I wanted more power, but he tuned it specifically for prime accuracy/max shots with the 18.13’s. It still blows my mind how accurate it is now 🤯😎
I was just gonna say that. I remember his video. It will push up on barrel and change poi. I have a couple of his mods He knows his stuff! Love the vids!
The barrel band sucks . and the baffle stack sucks too . to rectify the barrel shifting issue what you need is two of the rubber shims inside the stock barrel band rubber instead of hard plastic . mine stays put even with a DONNY FL sumo on a donny short shroud . . I wasted almost 70 bucks on the barrel band and baffle stack . jefferson tune kit and polish the sear save yourself 200 -300 dollars or what ever ridiculous price he's charging. I know every one is cashing in on the air rifle scene but this (haji-joto) guy is ridiculous . by the way the barrel band is hollowu
What was the TOTAL cost for ALL the upgrades? Also how long did it take? and what was shipping cost? September 12 2021. Mine will be a 22 caliber, Gauntlet 2. THANKS.✌
You can! Travis with Airgun Depot gave a great tip on how to do that once. You can use the degasser key, or you do Travis’s trick: 1. Unscrew the bottle 1 turn 2. Dry fire the Gauntlet a few times to release the pressure in the gun itself. 3. Finish unscrewing. When you screw it back on, the pressure release might make the bottle difficult to finish screwing on, so just be aware.
Easy to see the trigger improvement. What real value is it to shoot an accuracy test then tell it would have done better if the barrel had been cleaned?
Hajimoto did to the Gauntlet what Ford did to the automobile, what the Wright brothers did to flying. Flat out all the difference in world. And this was an excellent video by the way. Would have been nice to see the other gun shot over the chrony.
Dan Wiley thank you! There was a scene in there where I shot the stock Gauntlet with the 18.13 gr pellets; it’s velocity was 742 FPS compared to the 824 FPS out of Hajimoto’s 😎. It’s a difference of 22 fpe vs 27 fpe; 5 more pounds of pressure 🤩. I’m excited to get this out hunting!

Wouldn't it have been better to spend your money on a High End Rifle vs. spending it on Hajimoto upgrades? Like an FX ? Where everything is already done , tested, and even better? I did try a Hajimoto air stripper for my G2 and the fit was so tight that it broke removing my shroud. Didn't last a week. It's a 3D print so it felt very brittle. He offered to replace it but I had to pay another $9 for ship. No thanks.IMHO , Hajimoto upgrades are good but a lot are Social Media Hype. But that's just me. FYI, you might wanna check your air stripper. And thanks for making all these very informative videos.
It honestly depends :); while I love my higher end airguns, upgrades from Hajimoto make more precision shooting achievable by the masses. You can buy a stock Gauntlet for a few hundred bucks and make upgrades here and there as you go :).

@@TheMrodla my Hajimoto shoots better than the Avenger hands down, but all costs included it’s a $1000 airgun now. So I would say: if you like tinkering/modifying the Haji gauntlet is the way to go. If you’re just looking for an out of the box airgun that is comparatively budget friendly, the avenger is the way to go :).
Lasse Eneroth Hajimoto and I agreed that we wanted this tuned to high power while still maintaining a high shot count; while 824 FPS isn’t the max his tunes can go, it put me where I wanted to be without sacrificing shots or accuracy :). That and he informed me on how to increase the power further if I so desired (with a simple turn of a screw in the rear of the gun).
Actually it’s worked out extremely well; I did some testing to make sure it didn’t change the accuracy and have been impressed with them. As a hunter (and youtuber) they’re really nice when tracking the pellet path, especially on slow motion videos.
LMFAO, I'm shooting 995,992, 993,988,993,993,994,998,980 out of my stock Gauntlet .177 and I'm just shooting paper at 100 yards with my $229 Gauntlet because when I Hunt I do it like a man with my Savage rifle, Not like a little boy with a pellet gun.

Big J's Outdoors & Airguns did the same here and agree!
I just ordered a G2 . I plan on sending it straight to him for some reg work , power tune kit and a few other things .
Nice video! I sent my Gauntlet .25 to Hajimoto and can't wait to get it back.
What are your results?

He does mention in his videos to not set a bi-pod on the barrel band FYI
Give that man a cigar! You are absolutely right!
I don't think The Dollar Sportsman read through the documentation on the HP Barrel Band :)
Hajimoto Productions now that you mention it, I may vaguely remember that 🤓😆

Can i remove my cylinder from my gauntlet, have it filled and screw it back on without issues or does it have to be filled while mounted to the rifle?

Great video, since when the gauntlet in .22 are coming with the barrel band from factory?
They do lol wow

the problem with stock-ish gun with the barrel band was the bottle cover was removed so holding it by the bottle pushed up on the barrel.

I noticed you are a fellow southpaw shooter and wondered if you felt manipulating the safety to be a little awkward?
What was the cost of all the upgrades? I have the .25 cal and was looking to do some mods.
He actually has a sale going right now, but I’m not sure what the rate is these days for all these upgrades.
Which mods do you want to do?
$750 to tune a $299 gun.......just RIDICULOUS!!!

How much did all that work cost
How much did the upgrades set you back?

Love your videos nice job keep up the work...
How come you guys don't like the Avenger ??? Get back to me thx
We do like the Avenger 😎; this is a video about the Hajimoto Gen1 Gauntlet, though.

the barrel may have some flex due to the band, that's why "floating barrels" are prefered in presicion rifles
We're definitely not reading, lol
Sorry dude but ur 50 yd accuracy ain't too good. Just saying..should be much tighter.
Painted pellets had me laughing so hard! Worst idea ever

Check out #EDgunleshiy. He uses painted pellets.
Looking to see the arrow from a bow might lead to not holding follow-thru. Looking to see the pellet thru a scope is exercising follow-thru.

Mine shoots 850 to 900 fps in .25 stock and has better groups than that.
No need for upgrades. Shoots awesome straight from the factory. Trying to sell you useless upgrades .
