I got this kit, the figures and camouflage are amazing.
It’s a good deal. 2 Minifig’s with a brick camo Humvee!
Would you recommend this set? Cause I am torn on getting 2 of these or getting 2 transport humvees

These were a good choice to start with 😀 They were very simple but I do think they look great. I now wish I picked up two of them as well, with the 2 minifigures they are actually a good deal. Man, with that haul you got Brickmania better give you a free LCAC 👍Be well and stay safe out there.

The British military vehicle of choice has always been the Snatch Landrover. But, it doesn’t really appear to have the same protection of the Humvee but, they are very mobile. I think they are now looking at using the Ocelot. A much more robust vehicle with additional armour platting.
I guess in a firefight, any vehicle might be better than being in an exposed position.
Have you heard of the Victoria Cross? It’s the U.K. equivalent of the Medal of Honour. It’s rarely awarded but one recent recipient was a guy named Johnson Beharry. If you get a chance please read his Wikipedia entry but specifically the Victoria Cross citation!

I actually have seen the British military’s Landrover. I find it very interesting. I don’t know much about them. And yes I’ve heard of the Victoria Cross.

I got the older gray m998 HMMWV with the m1025 add on pack from a couple years back. Basically the same kit as yours but dark gray and I gotta say, even for how small the kit it, it’s still really amazing and really detailed. I really love the color change on the new one though.
The brick camo does add a little character. Do miss the add on abilities for their older humvees... but I’m good with the direction they’re going with now. I should have picked up those older ones when I got the chance.

They design and build the black hawks 10 min from my design studio. Sikorsky 🤘my childhood friends dad was a welder on them. Half my town worked there. Good birds.

Wait, I dont understand one thing. These rangers are in desert camo so why humvee is in woodland? Why using woodland on desert?
The military as a whole didn’t really stock up on tan Humvees until the mid 2000s.

@@SHYTIMEismyTIME yessirrr I will upload soon a Video, I modified the weapon bay door's now it can hold two AMRAAM's and six GBU-39 SDB I. And I added some hard points to carry weapons external too😊
Is this kit worth it though?
Worth is subjective… to me it is… I’ve driven these things so i have nostalgia behind it… and I understand the work and cost needed for this become a product. Most people wouldn’t agree. Remember this is a product made in the US paying for overhead costs of workers and facilities needed to operate here.
